Unfortunately the push to talk doesnt work sometimes, like when you are waiting for revive/loading/etc, whereas open mic works all the time. So yeah, most of the time Im open mic, suck it (though during PC/FW/etc I will go push to talk).

PTT is the left arrow button. That means that in order to communicate I have to take my thumb off the left stick entirely to hold that button down for the duration of what I'm trying to say.
