I have always shared a fondness for our lovable light vehicles since closed beta, as you can see it is even part of my name.
I have recently noticed a severe lack of LAV operators supporting our fine rifle slayers and have found many an abandoned militia or bpo LAV burning into a wasted hulk from neglect.
Where and who are our LAV operators? I am one myself, and have only ran into one in the last six months of any note.
If you are or were previously a LAV operator, why don't you still perform LAV support?

The nerf to slots killed it for me. Then they took away my burst missile launcher & then they gave shield lavs Sentinel hp. To many nerfs to it killed it.

I/we used to do a fair amount of solo/dual fighting in an LAV, as well using it for three-man combat transport.
Most often we were discouraged by continous vehicle thefts, as in most LAV uses it's critical to jump off turret and pilot seat.

My LAV driver , sebastian the huds , is one of the best in the game , if not the best.
He is unfortunately away from the game atm but I can tell him to play with you when comes back.

We used to run Logi support from LAVs for HAVs, and to hunt enemy HAVs from LAVs.
Then CCP whatshisdog decided that this was unfair towards HAVs, and nerfed the heck out of them (and prior to that, another CCP minion removed the remote reppers etc) |
