Know your enemy, the jumper will devote a large amount of his or her suit to biotechnology greens, red's, and the almighty blue. Now what this means is your target is sacrificing his tank for speed and maneuverability also your target is so much faster than his other team mate's that there is a very high probability that your dealing with a solo player. tactics to eliminate your target, 1. Group up team work and communication can overcome most obstacles.
2. Battle ground awareness always be aware and constantly checking your blind spots, jumpers arnt the only speedy suites out there when you spot one use range to your advantage speedy most likely favors shotgun, mass driver, or nova knife kill them outside there range.
3. Turbo charge your suit try and beat them at there own game, who knows you might like it there a nuisance to fight but pretty fun to play and changing up your own play style every now and then can improve your gaming capabilities in the long run.
4. Tank up hardcore put as much hit point buffer on your suit as you can practice your aim as much as possible hip fire and aim down sites, then get good or gud.

I would think any sentinel, given that they have explosive resistance, would be a good option.
You can even speed fit some according to Fox and some others.
In my experience, I used a Min Assault with a AScR and took him out from a distance while the guy tried to shoot my teammates, but really I don't see them often.

ive found the best counter to them is a MD. predict where they will land and and give their final jump an explosive boost. Bonus points for launching then higher than their own jumps, or splashing them while they are still in air. |

phsyics is your friend.
imagine somebody jumping straight up, they reach the peak of their jump and this is the moment in which they are no longer travelling, they are probably not completely still but this is when their acceleration is at it's lowest point.
now imagine somebody jumping towards you, draw a line to represent their arching movement pattern, at the top of that arch if you were to pretend to put it up like a tent, will be when they are going at their slowest point and most suspectible to damage.
wait for them to be at their slowest point, take aim and shoot on the down-fall, don't try to lurch your aim up AS they are jumping, wait for them to slow down and be at their highest point/slowest speed and shoot, preferably a semi-automatic weapon such as the tactical assault rifle at them.
tl;dr what someone else said "shoot them". |
