EVE: Legion sounds x1000 times sexier, CCP. People are just going to be making gun - jack - off jokes if you name it (or anything for that matter) this.

Probably Nemesis. I believe Nemesis is a rail shooter so being a "gun jack" could make sense. And, yes, that is perhaps the silliest name you could have for it.
Either way, registering a trademark doesn't really mean anything.
Or, to put it into the words that we all generally lean towards: "OMG, DUST 514 on PC confirmed GUNJACK!"

Worst sounding name I have ever heard. Seriously wtf is "Gunjack"? Is that a combo in GTA ? My best guess is they filed this for an April Fools prank and the papers got seriously back logged at the trademark office.
Knowing that they are (or were) hiring another VR dev in Shanghai I am going to go with more VR crap as my final answer. It is sad to see CCP investing so much in VR when other things are just going right down the drain.

You know what the term 'Gunjack' instantly made me think of?
Mechs. Pretty sure I've heard them called that in some other form of media and as a name..... I'm kind of sold on it. Depending on the context that could serve the game well.
The other simple draw from this could be the idea that we are 'conscious transferring' or 'jacking-in' into something like a clone, a machine, etc.
