And again, my friends, we are here in a solomn vigil to support each other in our loss of our shared afternoon rituals. It appears that the codes of prophecies have finally eluded our dear developers, and as such they have become victims of their own creations. We must stand tall and proud, my fellow mercs, and pray to the gods of New Eden that a new code shall be written. A code of true hit detection, and aim assisted protocols, a code that removes framerate issues and lag. A code that will finally free the honorable devs of their internet tormentors and hecklers. A code so that all Gek-38 bullets are equal and fly truly straightforward and not wrap around corners. This code must be a code to make a true foundation so that we must never again see the hollowness of the planets we sometimes find ourselves falling through. A code of true team spirit so that we may be able to assemble our efforts in the warbarges before raining death and destruction to our enemies. A new code that will finally help the sovereign Amarr empire to enslave all of New Eden under their rule...
We do sincerely pray to the great New Eden gods that there will be a resolution to our bored afternoon, and hope that the honorable devs don't just say, '@#$& it! Let's go get some beer, maybe it'll fix 'erself!' |

I concern not about the well being of noobs anymore for they are the only kills I get. This last update, unfortunately, is the greatest thing to ever happen to F.N.G.'s because a few extra militia plates can help them survive a bit longer to steal a kill. Tranquility noticed the increases in my kill-assist-to-death ratio and is complaining for me.
But, I bet this rings true for all mercs: we will gladly lose our consecutive logins and bonuses, and take a day or two off if the devs will fix the lag while they're at it. I'll buy the beer if they do. If I can get a month of no lag, I'll buy 2oo,ooo aurum.
