How do you only skill 1 race and thats it? Is it loyalty, love, enjoyment or because you dont have 85mil+ sp to skill 5 proto suits 5 advanced max out all their weapons have basic tanks(no modules), and start skill into a 3rd race and their weapons?

I have no idea what you are talking about
all my basic frames are at least to level 1 I have at least one specialized role in each faction to level 1
I have all my Caldari frames at Level 3 excluding the sentinel
all my cores are almost maxed with the exception of equipment which is all to level 3
all vehicle upgrades to 3 I have all drop ships unlocked including ADS and I have unlocked saga II
I unlocked all basic tanks and all turrets excluding missile turrets
my corp skills allow me to have a corp of at least 200 members
all weapons unlocked to at least level 3 with most if not all reload skills to level 3 as well
two proto light weapons with prof 2
I only have 26.5mill sp and I am already active in PC
If someone chooses to specialize and only use one thing that's fine but how do you not get bored? LP items can give free access to early proto gear if you have whatever role to level 3 from level 3- 5 you have to spend over 1mill sp (why waste sp in something that you don't even know if you'll perform well in) and even after spending 2.5mill on a dropsuit if you dont have your cores maxed and you don't have proto weapons and gear you are going to under perform, better to use an ADV suit with proto gear then a proto suit with ADV gear
new players need to max their cores skill into std suits and whatever roles of each race thy want to level 1 only until cores are maxed, then choose your favored weapon and max that out, once you have that maxed you can move on to each role and max one out at a time starting with your favored role
a std suit with maxed cores can perform better then adv or proto suits with weak core skills (not to mention that its way cheaper)
its only taken me a little over a year playing semi hardcore to get where I am although half that time was spent in 1.8 where the cap was 190k weekly SP or something close to that, grinding 1k wp per match back then was the only way to get any sp after you finished your reserves 1sp per wp capped at 1k meaning if you didnt get any wp you didnt get any sp after capping which took me two days at most to cap
now I can grind out SP without any boosters and just playing casually and still have about 100k left at the end of the week if I don't play hardcore
back then It was hard to acquire SP anyone playing now can get to the point I am in half the time playing just as much
back to the topic on hand I don't see any problem with specializing other then it locking you into one role and I prefer to have options so I am skilled into everything and I do not have 85mill sp

This. I'm at about 32 Million SP. I have Proto Cal Logi, CalMando, Cal Sentinel, Adv. Cal Assault and haven't even touched the scout yet. I'm basically maxed out in Armor (Don't ask, I didn't know what I was doing) and shields, plus some of my cores. My Sniper Rifle and Rail Rifle are maxed proficiencies but still have the other branches to max out. I skilled into Combat Rifle initially so that is basically maxed out. I have plenty more to do with the dropsuit cores (hacking, cloaks, nanohives, uplinks etc) that before I start skilling into Amarr/Gallente/Min, I want to have at least 1 race maxed out so I have a baseline. Then I can move on to other areas and start trying out their fits and see how I like them. But to throw SP into another race when I am already started with this one seems kind of silly to me.

Well.. I have all but sentinel Caldari suits maxed. I'm being loyal in a way that I won't put a single sp in gallente suits.
There's plenty of skills to put sp in. E.g. weapon's tree and everything related to vehicles.

It can be because certain players really enjoy the playstyle of a particular race and find that it works well for them with all frames.

At first I started investing my SP only in Gallente because I have the mindset to try to max out completely one aspect of something before moving on to the next.
Now I am such a Gallente loyalist that I actually despise in varying degrees the other factions and I have zero interest in investing SP in them. |

Its and interesting concept you bring up here. One I fully understand in fact....especially because I tie content to level of enjoyment. However at the same time other content beyond Amarrian stuff holds no value for me even if it would refresh the game.
Unlike you I cannot physically bring myself to enjoy any other facet of Dust 514 content that is not tied to the Amarr or HAV......I don't think I'd ever get tired of the weapons themselves or the Amarr alone.....I just got bored of the lack of challenge in FW.

I literally had to program myself to justify the use of other gear. Like when I use a flaylock I simply see it as a missile launcher and tie that in with being a fan girl of the Khanid. Then the rest of my suits only use Boundless weapons to represent the Brutor.

I'm starting to blur quite heavily on this issue. I have all gallente suits to proto, all weapons as well. All cores maxed, all modules maxed except hacking and biotics which are all 3. Recently however, I have been having fun with min assault and logi, which are both maxed...and I even skilled into punk Calassault and rail rifles to make use of the raven bpo I still cant trade (dafk?). I've been running Gal for so long it's interesting to try new playstyles for the heck of it, but when the hail starts flying I pull those Gk.0 right back out you best believe.

I'm a Gallente loyalist myself as they are so damned flexible. They mix durability, regen, and power so well. However I literally can not not spend my SP on other things at this point. My cores are maxed, I have all Gallente suits maxed. AR, PC, and IP are maxed, and I have a majority of vehicle armor tanking skills to boot.
I took every Assault because, why not. Assaults yo.
I took the Min Logi because it was very nearly my first suit. I hopped into as soon as it was introduced and didn't leave until racial parity was introduced.
And on the weapons front I have everything to at least proficiency III to be flexible in every situation. Except the bolt pistol. That only needs op I to kill everything.
If they had more Gal stuff, I'd get into it as well. But at around 80 mil SP, I choose my SP sinks now with a dartboard.

I have stuff I use maxed out. Waiting for the next Dev nerf/buff update 2 waste more sp. It's way more fun to use like 5 million sp at a time.
