Yesterday I used my Charge Sniper rifle (from a distance you would not expect any sniper to last long, but I did. 13 kills in the position).
I noticed that when I aimed at a target and shot to far away from target, it was registered as a headshot. It happened multiple times.
Something new or lag/glitchy/high detection???

Probably the server was registering the target in a different spot than your client.
In short? You got lucky.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

I would call it luck if it was once maybe twice, but I got 5 head shots that way in one battle. That's more than luck.

You know what, **** it, I am coming back to sniping. And i'll use a damn dirty assault...I shall make you all pay for making me use an assault, especially you CCP..

Scouts used to be the best role to use a Sniper. I remember back in beta, like it was yesterday...
Now, they do Assault and Commando. Not Cal Scout. No. ASSAULT AND FLIPPING FAT ASS COMMANDOS! It would make sense for the Caldari SCOUT to be the sniper role. But nooooooo! They had to give it to Jay and Silent Blob! Now I am mad that I had to use an awesome movie to reference them.
Now, I guess I shall adapt and use the flipping Assault to snipe. Or perhaps I will use the CalScout. Either way, CCP shall feel my wrath. They shall feel my ass....

I wish the cal scout had a sniper only bonus, gaining that snipers are caldari and it's usually scouts that use snipers (at least, in te real world).
