Reset every few games. I have had good luck staying out of vehicles. Its like chrome. If the lag catches you you gotta reset.

Never seen it so bad. You need to look at your PS3 setup for sure.
1. Use a cable for your connection
2. Port forward the game
3. Put your PS3 on a static IP
4. Get a quality HDMI cable
5. Clean the hard drive on your PS3

Strangely enough, I've been getting lag in FW even with a fresh plug-in after hours of the PS3 being off... Starting to wonder if it has something to do with the pulling of server-side info.
10% of US schools no longer teach Cursive. A decade from now, 10% of the US isn't going to understand all the squiglies.

Never experienced frame rate lag. Rubber banding... yes, but not like that. 
Will try out some FW in the weekend.
If I would experience anything like that, I would create a ticket with time, match type, character and as much information about the PS3 and connection as possible. Hell, if I could record I would attach the movie.

For framerate lag known as client lag
resetting helps only so much. It might reduce the chance a bit but does not guarantee it.
SSD doesn't help prevent either, it only minimises the both game load time and in-game texture load times.
The disease known as client lag really plagues us. There are few classical symptoms:
- standard low framerate: the oldest of all. All below 20 fps. This can be adjusted to.
- framerate stutter: in every 0,8 to 1,2 seconds there is a mini freeze. This is annoyingly difficult to adjust to.
- NEW TYPE: erratic framerate lag: this first appeared 1-2 weeks ago! Everything feels 'mushy' and unresponsive. The framerate stutters up and down erratically. Very difficult to compensate to while playing.
