This is a survey from a scale of 1 being terrible to 10 being the best.
Today I traded my Galmando Apex to a Calmando Apex and omg I am satisfied. Since I'm loyal to Caldari its a challenge being a Shield user and heck I found commandos to be awesome.
They do feel like Assaults but much better since they have 2 Light slots = Perfect.
I find the Galmando and the Calmando to be perfect. Haven't used the Minmando nor the Amando.
I like how all Commandos got an extra slot = good.
My favorite Apex Dropsuit is the Tiger Minmatar Scout = A deadly scout.

I am also satisfied from my Samurai Calmando.
I threw in there some energizers, a kincat and a quafe SG.
Feels good. Commandos overall.
I have as much fun with them as I have with scouts.

I am satisfied with my State Kampo logi by the fact that its free, but as a competitive suit or a competent logi I am not, the std rep tool forces you to basically hug whoever you are repping having to stay within 10m of the target the needle only gives 30% health and leaves whoever you revived vulnerable, the upside is the hives which with max cal logi skills you can get a lot out of it can be good for spamming the carnifax locus nades that come stock on it although youd be better off using a MD in my opinion
the fourth equipment slot that was added in change for the low slot that was removed is good if you want to carry links or some other equipment perhaps even an extra set of hives, it does not come with anything stock on the 4th slot currently so really if you want it to be completely free you have to do without it
the assault RR is ok if you have the skills for it as the reload is one of the highest of all the weapons without a bonus to it you leave yourself vulnerable but as a logi you shouldn't be in line of fire so thats ok, the stock mods that come on it are ok I would switch out the ferroscale for another basic regulator as it is a main shield suit and 35 extra armor wont do you much with only 2 armor reps per sec
the extenders, recharger and energizer are fine but I would prefer more extenders over the recharger and energizer as a logi needs to have more health over passive reps as they should not be in line of fire in the first place
overall with the new changes a std suit can be more powerful at a low cost and can still carry two equipment and a sidearm so the apex suits are about on par with them
I give it a 7/10 but a 10/10 just for the fact that you don't lose anything as long as you use it stock

I'm still new, but when I was really new I bought the Gallente Chiron logistics suit so I could get a taste of something other than militia gear in a more specialized suit. (OK, I also bought it to farm WP/SP.)
When I had a lot less SP and ISK I absolutely loved it but for the fact that I felt like I had a bullseye on me with its garish skin. (I later bought a skin to hide it.) 8 out of 10 purchase. Now that I'm more specialized in my skills and have a definite preference for shields over armor, I like it much less. After tiericide I run my Caldari logistics suit over it unless I'm on the losing side of a stomp and want to stem the marginal cost of my match. Maybe 6.5 out of 10 now.
If someone was new and I knew they had the DUST bug (mite?) I'd recommend they buy an APEX suit without hesitation. |

Logistics can save a lot of isk (seraph is a slayer)
what I do is keep the Wal-Mart reps but run pro needle
Scouts make a lot of wp loaded out with pro links
Assaults all around great
Heavy I stick with dominus

I wouldn't part with my Republic Shaman or Renegade for anything less than 100 mil. They're that awesome. Granted, with the slot layout buff to all suits, my Sever Logi isn't that far behind the Shaman fitting wise. However, when ran as just the BPO configuration, you can't beat free!

Gallente Commando: 8/10 - Situational and easily killed by MinAss + CR or AmAss + Scr, but very fun.
Caldari Kampo logi: 7/10 - Constantly dying without making the WP's I need. The ARR BPO is its only redeeming factor, making it more of a slayer logi.
Gallente Chiron logi: 10/10 - Couldn't really edit it to improve it other than a few tweaks. Survives to make the WP's, and because it didn't need slot buffs to begin with, it has 4 pre-installed equipment. Also, Breach AR really makes it a slayer.
Amarr Opus assault: 9/10 - Deadly, well until overwhelmed. Scrambler meta works to its advantage.
Minmatar Warlord Sentinel: 10/10 - Fast enough to get you to prey and gank them. If you have Krins mods, it shines more for free.
Caldari Rasetsu: N/A - Haven't tried yet, but it looks good stats-wise.
Gallente Serpent Scout: 10/10 - Nags 12 kills per death on avg.

It was a double KO but mine was more satisfying, as I turned round you killed me and I headshotted you with my militia HMG
20 seconds later on respawn I come across you again, and killed you. took no damage.
But you should get a skin for your tiger. Apex are so ugly. CCP done this so we buy skins to cover them up. |

Nomad: 9 out of 10. Load with Reactives and Ferroscales and you got a winner. Cheap fit replaces regulator with armor repper and kincat with ferro / regular plate. Glorious with krin's damage mods. Personally not a huge fan of the REs or flaylock so i usually replace them with links / injectors and an SMG.
Shaman: 8 out of 10. Lacks the fittings to have both decent HP, regen and equipment but solid outside that. Tend to run it wit ha BDR 8 on the rare ocasions that i squad up.
Dominus: 10/10. Basically halfway between how i fit my 2 amarr sentinels. Trade the high for a krin's and the scram for a lolbolt pistol. Replace the rep with a plate when with a logi, replace the plates with reppers for solo. |

Only got the Serpent Scout right now. It is ezmode/10, hope to get the Opus Assault soon as I like to have nothing but Amarr things. Shiny gold, the shiny gets me every time....
