Don't ya think they should now that the slots layouts are the same. The differences shouldn't be nearly as exaggerated as they are when all you gain is CPU/PG eh?

And hit points. Possibly speed and profile as well. Even so, CPU/PG is the biggest different in available stats you can get. It's the difference between fitting 3 standard plates and 3 complex plates and a proto weapon. Given that, why should the prices be changed when the difference is still marked? |

so since the slots incraessed to that of proto all suits should be increased in isk cost to compensate yes? making standard more expencive to run?
becuase if you make proto cheaper it invalidates even having the rest.

making std and adv suits cost more increases the incentive to run only proto
making std and adv suits cost less increases the incentive to run cheaper gear under the new system.
did you just tell a guy who almost exclusivly runs std gear to stop running proto?

I didn't tell anyone anything.
I'd rather see the numbers tweaked on the payout side. I run Apex pretty much all the time, with 13 proto suits it's impossible to have multiple tiers of each suit. I've got an Apex and various proto fits of each suit.

Well, a STD suit is roughly 20 times cheaper than a PRO, but the STD suit doesnt have 20 times less fitting capabilities, just around half (with cores maxed)
Now that the slots are the same, the real difference ISK-wise of running a STD from a PRO suit, should be the things you put in (mods/weapons/equipment)
So yeah, STD and ADV need a big price increase, or... just make the bonuses of each suit adjust depending of what tier you use, if you use a STD suit you get 1 level of the bonus, ADV you get 3 levels and PRO 5 levels. (i see the tears coming already)
