Why can't we join a normal battle with 8 guys?
Why only faction war?
In old setup we were able to play with some buddies and make money.
Now we have to divide us if we want to play just to make some isk.
The different sizes are nice but the limitation to join a pub match (to make some money) only with 4 people is ... *facepalm*
At least as long you cannot make money in faction war.
(Which I suggest you to implement because all try hards will then move there and leave pub matches) |

Well that's odd I run solo and make plenty of ISK.
Acquisition is terrible, matchmaking is terrible, your game is still riddled with bugs, you should feel bad.

Didn't know it took 8 guys in pubs to "make some money". There is no reason I see for you to require a preset halfteam for pubs. Pubs is just for solo or small fireteams to goof around and earn isk while padding their stats.

Have you not played for a couple months, FW pays, also you can buy Apex bpo from LP store and sell to people for isk.
FW is lucrative, and the main benefit of playing is you always get 16v16 |

lets say you suck at life so you dont have any FW standing whatsoever
so about 100 winning battles or 400 losing ones will net you an apex suit each apex goes anywhere from 30mill to say 50mill or higher if you can get someone dumb enough to pay higher
30mill/400=75k
30mill/100=300k
pubs pay anywhere from 0 isk to over 400k but you are more likely to net in say 250-300k a match if each match you play you do well in
in FW any losses you take are refunded by 40% so if you lose say 100k you only actually lost 60k (you really should not be losing that much with a squad of 8 in FW especially if you are getting revived)
so say you lose on average about 50k each match if you do well you can net in an average of 250k per match or more by selling apex suits if you do bad you can still make enough to stay isk positive but if you absolutely suck you should lose isk but hey once you get that apex you can run around in it for free
with max standing you can cut the matches in half and get twice as much and if you use FW boosters you can get way more
you should not need to be running in pubs with 7 others to have a good time, if you want to run with that many people do FW if you want to play with a full team get 15 others that play at about the same time as you and start a corp so you can join in on PC
if you cant make money without others then start running in starter fits or buy some BPO's its not that hard to make Isk no matter what you play

You are a scrub if you need a squad. I mostly solo, but when I squad, I only take 1 person along. Two people are more than enough for a pub.

Dust originally had 4-man squads. Glad we're going back to it.
If you're serious enough to get a larger group together, you should be doing FW or PC

The community is small and the last people are hardcore fans and they do not want to hear bad things.
On the other hand I COULD have written less aggressive.
I have no problem that most people think that I have a problem in making money (which is absolutely nopt true) and that they have not read my main intention:
I want to play with my buddies.
With all of them (that would be cool) or at least again with 6 people. And to do that in the mode we play most = the mode you have to play to get ISK.
Because most of the time we play to gather ISK. (Yeah we spent a lot ISK)
Summary:
* Cool feature (THX CCP)!
* But why restriction?
* Possible solution: Introduce money gathering in faction war.
* Possible solution 2 (new): Introduce pub matches 2 for bigger groups. |
