A tactic in factional warfare seems to be "let the enemy have a hack some letters it makes it easier to clone them"
The thing is if they are clearly much better I think it is okay to play into hands and die lots of times by charging letters.

One should never charge objectives head on unless you outnumber the enemy or have superior firepower. If you have neither then it is best to flank and take an objective.
There are only two times when I feel it is necessary to sacrifice clones, when either hacking or protecting objectives.
Sometimes it is best to spawn near an objective that the enemy is about to capture. If you can stop the hacking, even if you die, your comrades may then have an opportunity to stop the enemy completely.
Sometimes it is necessary to hack an objective while under fire because in doing so you can stop the enemy from spawning in and allow your teammates that come after you to simply defend the objective from afar until it is fully hacked.

You usually let them have a letter to have something to do. It would be incredibly easy to push them completely off it however it is more interesting for everyone to at least leave one lying around for small skirmishes to flare up at.
I don't think you should ever charge letter in FW instead I would simply claim the letter they offer you and consider it a personal challenge and not allow them that letter even if they want it. Let them siege you and mow them down in droves.

Its really situational, sometimes in FW i'll die a lot because I end up tying up at least three or four people fighting me. If I can make enemies overcommit to fighting me, they can end up undermanned in other areas.

Mantra of how I pilot my HAV. If I can force players to commit AV to me that means that there will be less rifles on a point. This is the reason I'd willingly die multiple times for no personal gain to achieve.
E.G- Myself, Aero, Thal, and a former Corpmate held off an entire 12 Man Q-Sync and a four man squad from a single objective for a good 15 minutes while underfire from a PRO HAV with and Ion Cannon. We didn't even die that much but boy we kept those tribal dogs out of our 'Alamo'.

it is impossible to die in dust as we are clones and it is not acceptable to die, you must fight till the very end |

Something else to consider is when learning something new, particularly when it is something significantly different from what you are used to.
I think in that instance, you are doing yourself a favor by being willing to fail in order to learn. Some of the people unwilling to do so are limiting themselves and becoming one trick ponies. Eventually, having multiple skills that vary significantly can be rewarding.

Not everybody wants to live forever. It's an issue that hasn't really yet sunk in to most Amarrian clones just yet.....but it will one day.

When you want to win. When it helps the team. When you care more about enjoying the fight than fighting the enjoyment(you can't enjoy not playing hard or trying unless you feel by having padded stats your making up something you lack in your life). I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but think about it if you ain't dieing(atleast a little) you ain't trying. We are clones in this game it is good strategy often to say run link scout or push a heavy guarded objective or anything that needs to be done at the expense of a few clones. I run solo ALOT, and if you see me in a match and I ain't trying to get the win by any means necessary then what am I there fore. I challenge myself by running alone and in apex, it's great for pc prep as a player you'll begin seeing what needs to be done and what it may take for an individual play to make a difference in the match. Just my opinion.

As someone who dies a lot anyways, I also second this advice. I skilled into only one role in this game for a very long time. Still my best role but the biggest advantage a lot of players have over newer players isn't just the skillpoint gap but also the variety we have access to so we can counter. Learning a counter to everything is crucial and dying a lot to learn it is just part of the process.
