Anyone got any? Almost have the entire dropsuit upgrade tree maxed so it's time to start branching out some.

Personally, I favor the Minmatar Logistics suit and believe it to be the most powerful Logistics suit in the game (my opinion, of couse). With a 4 High / 4 Low slot layout for a balanced versatility, highest base move and sprint speed, highest stamina regeneration, the ability to have 4 equipment slots, and a bonus to repair tool amount as well as range, the Minmatar Logistics has never let me down.
As an added bonus, the Logistics suit has a native hacking bonus which allows you to hack slightly faster (with max System Hacking skill, this comes out to 6.94 seconds), while the Minmatar edges out other Logistics suits as it receives a slight bonus to hacking speed (again with max Systems Hacking, this comes out to 6.67 seconds). For a chart that I have made, check out my Systems Hacking guide.
The Gallente Logistics and the Amarr Logistics tie for second place, depending on the situational need for each. Gallente Logistics gives you a bonus to Active Scanners, while the Amarr Logistics gives you a bonus to Drop Uplinks. If you need a place for your team to rally up, Amarr might be the way to go. However, if you need Tacnet intel to view where your opponent is, with strong scan precision and duration, Gallente will beat out any other contenders.
Both the Gallente and Amarr run as Armor Logis which make them strong against Flux grenades and shield penetrating weapons, however they are weak to projectile and explosive weapons. Also, should you decide to use Armor Plate, be prepared to run slower and shorter distances compared to the Minmatar suit. It's also good to point out that the Gallente suit has 4 equipment slots, while the Amarr has a sidearm, but sacrifices an equipment slot, bringing the max equipment count to 3.
Finally, the worst Logistics suit, the Caldari Logistics suit (again, my opinion). Because they are a shield based dropsuit, they have many disadvantages such as being prone to EMP strikes, flux grenades, and shield stripping weaponry. Recently, CCP has made a change to allow a 4th equipment slot on the suit while sacrificing a low slot (this is balanced out by increasing the CPU to match the other Logstics suits). Their bonus is also pretty weak, as it only gives a bonus to Nanohives, and not a great one at that. Many people are also quick to point out that shields in this game are extremely weak at the moment.
The downside to my explanation about the Caldari suit is that while I have level 5 Caldari Logistcs, I very rarely run it and can't give good advice for it. My experiences with the Caldari Logistics suit has been so awful that I simply cannot recommend this suit at all to anyone. Some of my Caldari wielding friends may be able to shed some light as to how to properly run one, but from my standpoint, it is simply not a good option to skill into it.
To wrap up, should you choose to skill into Minmatar Logistics, feel free to message me in game or post a reply on this thread and I will be more than happy to help you out with fittings and strategies for becoming an effective Minmatar Logistics user. Until then, I'll see you on the battlefield.

Thanks for the info, I'll likely stick to Galogi but the min does sound appealing, don't think I could stomach running Amarr or squid lol

If you're interested in doing Gallogi, I've got some tips for you. I have the Gallente Logistics to 5 along with the scans. Typically in pubs, for maximum efficiency, run dual scans. It allows you to keep the enemy highlighted practically the entire time until you die. You should also put a repair tool and a uplink on it to satisfy standard logi needs. For what scanner to use, it is really situational, but in most cases, running two quantum scans will work. Scan first with one, and when they wink out, scan with the other. It begins a 24/7 cycle of scans to keep the enemy highlighted.
That's all I have to say until you get Proto scans, which is something different to talk about.
What level Gallogi and scans do you have?

Ironically enough the only stuff left on my upgrades tree that isn't maxed is scans (3) and rep tool (3) and cloaks is 1 but that's irrelevant. My gallogi is only at 1, but since most of the tree is done won't be super hard to get that up some. I've been running solo flanking assault since closed and never really thought about trying out logi before until recently.
It's a totally different game but a hell of a lot of fun, Not exactly conducive to solo play tho.

To really get the max out of the GalLogi, you should def get scanners up next. It makes a huge difference, and helps point out Scouts (to their displeasure, and it may make you a Scout magnet lol).
But yeah it's more of a cooperative role. You should find a fatty to run with (aka Meat Shield), or stay with your team and play support. Not to say you can't get plenty of kills in too

The prior posts seem to cover things pretty well but I just wanted to add that if you do hop into the in game channel I'll be happy to squad up some time when our play times overlap. I often have heavies around (or can run a proto Sent myself for that matter) so if you'd like to get some practice time in running squad support
