What invisible wall? You rammed into that beam. Did you think your left thruster was going to magically go through it?
Looking at it more closely, it wasn't your left thruster, the left side of your dropship's nose just barely got caught, and that's what bumped. But seriously, you'd have hit that thing, anyway. |

i've rammed into geometry that was only there because the game hadn't loaded in the proper textures yet.
In a jeep on the meat grinder map, entering in via the side entry with the downward slope, I saw it wasn't rendered but thought it would be fine. Apparently the building block for that ramp is alot chunkier/clunkier when it doesnt have its overlay on it, the edge touching the dust Road stood up about 1 foot into the air in an untextered grey, 2 seconds after coming to a screaming halt the texture loaded and i was free to drive into the socket without a problem.
if you look at your video again, you'll notice that the textures haven't loaded in yet (look at the vertical wall to the left of the space you were trying to fly through). After the textures loaded in you were able to get into the socket.

Strongly agree it is clear that the textures are not charged. I was not sure that was the problem. And I would not argue with the other two partners who kindly answered

Actually I looked at the video there, there was no beam at least not close to the left side if you look at it in a 3 dimensional sense you can clearly see the left thruster was no where near it.
Analyzed the video he did not hit anything nothing was visible to hit
