When you get redlined or start to get pushed back it's game over. Because your team loses all hope and gives up. The problem isn't Proto stomping alone. I was playing a domination when the connection was made. We pushed in the enemy pushed in. No one claimed the objective for about 7 minuets. Then the enemy hacked. We had the advantage with spawns came in but got killed the enemy destroyed spawns. We spawned behind the redline ran up, uplinks fought another good round. Then back behind the redline, of course the enemy advanced. Now here is the problem.

Because the enemy held us behind the redline the team gave up. All the spawns but one were close enough were the reds could kill you. Of course no one spawned in the farthest back but me. I had to run over 1000m all the way around on the flank to put an uplink down. Just took too much time and the team never spawned even though only 3 reds stayed on point.

The 1000m run could be cut in half with a spawn point same distance away from the run line but in the northeast corner instead of the north west. So maybe don't put so many spawns were reds can kill you. Allow us to move around a bit more freely to form a plan and attack.

I mean it's common sense to spawn where the enemy can't hit you and go around but the blue berries AI programming isn't programmed with common sense just shortest distance

They don't even have to be automated turrets. I'd settle for useful turrets near the red line. After the nerf ages ago almost all turrets are either the wrong type (blaster on a hill far away from anything) or simply facing a wall/building etc so it has zero coverage in the right direction.

I don't know who's been building the bases in dust, but it's obviously governmental work to the lowest bidder. Those have to be some of the worst designed military bases I have ever seen. Your safer standing in the open than trying to take any kind of cover there.

lol their not really worth the time it takes to summon them. If your in a red line situation every half decent player has some kind of AV. If your spawn point isn't far enough away you can expect forge guns or large rail guns to blow stuff out of the air. Drop ships are not so bad, if a bit expensive but LAV's are a death trap.

Simple point is also just to go threw all that effort to break out of your own home base means you lost the match. There isn't a lot of wiggle room with the objectives. If the enemy has already had them for about 5min, the match is so far in their favor you'd get cloned before you won most of the time.

Which is why I think my favorite pub match is Acquisition. With the randomly moving objective it helps break up the match and turn arounds are far more common. Sadly the wait time to get into matches is pretty horrible most of the time you can't get into anything but Dom matches.

I've once suggested having the MCC's weapons protect their side of the redline. Violators who stand near their opponent's redline would get blown up after a ten-second warning.

it is funny that it does nothing to protect itself or it's team. Had a match recently where some one used a drop ship to get on top of the enemy MCC. Had a bunch of our own snipers up there shooting the other team in the back from their own MCC.

The problem with constantly getting into a dom match is that it's what most of the players are queuing into. As a result, the system will have a tough time finding a match in any other game mode outside of domination unless you're in FW or PC. Players need to be encouraged to select other modes instead of dom.

The worst is the mono rail map for dom. When you get spawn camped under the mcc, that is a definite fubar situation. That needs changed asap. Imo.
