Have a box to enter the item to trade or isk to purchase something vice versa .and then both people must accept or confirm what they are getting in return is correct for the trade .This will decrease theft in dust the way its now just breaks peoples trust as gamers

You're right. And I'm pretty sure CCP agrees. The current system was just a quick "for now" thing until the proper system is created.
Until then, be careful

Yea we all wanted a contract system in place. This would be better for a number of reasons.
Players would have to be online making alt farming even more difficult. A base contract fee would be much better that a % based fee. Scammers could still freely SCAM instead of commit outright theft. CCP would have an actual trade log to be able to reverse in cases such as the APEX giveaway we saw after the update.

Bad post. Every sensible person asks for better UI and better functionality.

If that was possible at present, CCP would have did it in the first place.

Just so you know, this is not full proof. I have seen clever scammers exploit the trade windows in Eve Online to great effect.
Don't get me wrong. I want this feature to be implemented as well, but just be aware that the only thing trade windows will accomplish is the elimination of lazy scammers and the beginning of a new way of life where only the clever ones remain. Even if you were to copy over the entire market system from Eve Online where buy/sell orders are constantly available between regions and that contracts are always a thing, it will not be 100% scam proof. Margin Trade scammers are rampant in the regional markets and contract scammers are always on the prowl. All they need is someone who is ignorant. And there will never be shortage of idiots. Just look at Jita local.

Scams are fine. Not checking the goods in the trade window and accepting is your own fault and you get what you are stuck with. I have myself been a victim of trade window scams and margin scams. Some people have really got them down and can pull off switching the items on you.
Theft by outright lying and saying you are going to give someone something then not giving it to them is not fine. CCP should be ashamed of letting this be possible with items that are purchased with real money.
CCP is also going to learn a hard lesson about the difference between being their own credit card processor as in Eve and having Sony as a middle man. The only people that are going to be doing any hardening up is CCP because when someone gets taken for a few APEX suits or a bunch of boosters that they bought with cash and call Sony to charge back I can assure you that Sony is not going to be saying HTFU or Git Gud or even welcome to New Eden.
They are going to be saying okay the money is being credited to your account and taken out of CCPs account. This is because Sony does not give a damn about CCPs money. Sony only cares about Sony and losing a bunch of charge backs ruining their processing rates because CCP says it is New Eden is simply not going to happen.

I know for a fact that people said the same damn thing about Eve Online promoting scams and theft. And theft involving cash is also common now in Eve Online thanks to PLEX. But so far Eve Online has thrived because because someone posted an article on a popular magazine showing how cut throat the game really was when players walked out on CCP because someone robbed their corp and CCP didn't do anything to reverse the damage saying "no rules were broken". It turned out that there are far more players out there who are into that kind of game than we think. That is why World of Warcraft has millions of players and Eve Online only have several hundred thousand.
Eve Online is the Mos Eisely of the MMO industry. Dust 514 has now become the same thing for the FPS market. Word of mouth will spread that this game encourages scams and theft. Those disgruntled players who hate such a world will think they are spreading the word in the hopes of keeping people away from the cut-throat world this game has become. But in reality, people will come to it because of that reality and will likely join the game already knowing that scams and theft are legal. It's no different from Eve Online when I say I'm selling a Navy Issue Ibis for 70 million ISK. You and I open a trade window, you post 70 million ISK, I post an Ibis, you and I accept, and then you find yourself with just a regular Ibis. Turns out there never was such a thing as a Navy Issue Ibis. There is also the story of that one World of Warcraft player who played Eve Online and trusted his entire hangar of expensive ships to a Goon who promised he would safely haul his assets to another system. The Goon just logged off and never replied back as soon as he got the stuff. Turned out the WoW player was a rich lawyer who got the expensive stuff via PLEX and his credit card but had no idea what he was doing. He then left Eve Online threatening to use his lawyer skills to get the players in the real world who robbed him in the game.*
Again, I wouldn't mind having secure systems in place. At least that will make sure only the smart scammers stick around.
* - Yes, the trade window was also used in this case.

The difference is that Sony will not even give CCP a chance to fight the charge back if the player says the right thing, which is not hard to figure out. With Eve on the other hand they deal directly with the credit card companies which allow them to argue a charge back aka show the ToS and show the player got what they paid for.
There we have a MASSIVE fundamental difference which can and will seriously damage Dust in the long run if they try to apply the same models from Eve.
Just look at the giant flood of refunds that took place after fanfest. Players called Sony and said CCP lied and Sony gave back all money for the last 60 days with no further questions.

So what you are is that Sony is effectively making themselves exploitable? If I wanted a charge back, all I have to do is BS their tech support? I can understand the folks calling Sony for charge backs after the whole Fanfest debacle (or Rouge Wedding as I like to call it), but for a player to call for a charge back because another player scammed or robbed them in a game where it's perfectly allowed kind of sounds pathetic to me. Alternatively they can BS Sony by saying that it was CCP that didn't provide good service even though the reality was that they were scammed by another player. And the fact that Sony won't even bother to dispute the charge back like the banks would is kind of worrying.
