M209 smg is a terrible sidearm. I stay away from it like I do STD's. And by STD's I don't mean standard equipment. Though I stay away from that also. 
ScR needs a new mechanic. It should behave like the Ion Pistol. One charge shot and a brief cool down time. Multiple single rapid shots ok as well, but not immediately after a charge shot.

Yeh, assault SMG's pathetic clip size makes it useless against anything with a decent amount of HP. I find it's particularly effective against scouts though, the RoF makes them easier to hit. Although you are punished more if you miss.
I would like a Gallente SMG.

It would need to probably be buffed slightly if this were implemented and we know how CCP is with buffs and nerfs, i like it how if currently is, doesn't like the god weapon it used to feel like in my hands but not without a punch either

I actually thought of this a while back, I doubt any of the try hard will let this happen but its a great idea

So people can then cry about the spam shots.... Honestly I rather it go the direction of increased damage lower rof.

M209 just needs a bigger clip,ive been melting stuff with it for days.

you can already spam shots with it... It's the only light weapon that has a charge shot and rapid fire capabilities.

I am aware of that I used the dang thing lol, what I am saying is the people who cry about it's charge shot will just cry about it's ability to fire rapidly
