Read the rules about mechanical exploits in the TOS.
Bypassing paying aur orr grinding LP through a bug in the UI is a clear exploit of mechanics and unintended behavior.
If you accidentally got 2 mil ISK I doubt they'd do more than plug the hole. But 58k aur? Over 20 bucks real money for a suit and you pull 5 for free? Kiss the serpents goodbye.

if this was 100 aur weapons, they'd probably have just plugged the hole and let people keep them... but as it's around 100$ worth of dropsuits what the **** did you think was going to happen.
Yeah ccp may have introduced a bug, however you'd have to be genuinely ****ing stupid to not realize that this was both unintended and a bug. So at this point it kind of comes down to a matter of scale. Gave one to a friend to try? Eh no real malicious intent. Scammed a few people with them? You're kind of a ****. Rolled a ton of alts just to make them and roll around in a jewhoard of serpent scouts before attempting to scam a few hundred people in order to dramatically increase your hoard size? Yeah you were clearly exploiting this.
That said, I'm not responsible for punishing or not punishing people over this. I imagine plenty will go unpunished, but some might end up with bans.
