Giving of stuff on EvE that causes advantages is not allowed now. Rattati does this affect this community as well? If so its sticky worthy.

OK I need to clarify... If you were to give your templar bpo code out to a lucky winner then fair game or even a bought item I.e. art of new Eden or something, that's cool. But 100 free viktors may not be kosher anymore. I seriously think devs need to clarify if this effects us here as this was a "big ccp" move.

Wrong, the actual valuation of EULA rule states that a user cannot give away items behind a paywall. For example, twitch streamers can have subs pay x amount a month for bonus content but the bonus content cannot be EvE online in game items because that is in valuation of [insert number here] rule.

Ahhh okay, thanks for clarifying. Was getting a little nervous for a second.
So basically they're trying to stop streamers and what not from giving away in-game items for real-life funding because that violates the RMT (Real Money Trading) segment of the EULA.

Tallardar is a EVE Online youtuber and he just made video covering the topic.

I have not looked at where this was quoted from but I feel like this is to cover their ass on people giving away things like mining bots, macro software, macro keyboards, and any other item which gives an unfair advantage.
I only interpret it this way because anyone can buy any in-game item or code as long as they can pay the price. I feel like it may be something added because of people doing give aways on items like above, the person getting banned which loses CCP who could have been a perfectly good subscriber other wise, and the the whole thing blowing up in CCPs face because the person does not know why they were banned leading to a good possibility of negative press for CCP just enforcing these rules.
This way if a streamer is giving away items which are in violation of the ToS and indirectly giving the impression that those items are okay can be banned from the game thus saving CCP subscribers who never intended to break the rules and any backlash from properly enforcing those rules.

Thanks I knew someone would have better insight on this and did more than listen to a podcast on the way to work. Regardless it's a change and is not addressed here except by the player base which makes no sense IMO.
