In most games the collector edition tag can be seen at all times by other players if the owner wants to.
Here in dust the closest thing that we have to a collectors edition tag or item are the Templar Suits.
Now some of us love the look of said suit but cant use them at all times because they are STD items.
But this could be fixes by making the Templar suits into Skinz
With the current SKIN system anyone can have every kind of suit have a distinct look at every tier.
If we apply the same idea to the templar stuff we could look awesome at Mlt, Std,Adv, and Pro
Now some of you wont want to lose the Bpos we have
What could be done is keeping the BPOs and make the templar Skin a pre set item on them so that they look the same while implementing the SKIN idea

WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

There is a plan to convert special BPOs into a generic uncolored version, and then to give the owner a SKIN matching the old look of the suit. For example, an Amarr Tash-Murkon BPO sentinel will just turn into a boring-looking plain BPO Amarr sentinel, but the owner will receive a Tash-Murkon Amarr heavy SKIN that can not only be applied to the plain BPO, but only any suit using the Amarr heavy model (Amarr basic heavies, Amarr sentinels, and Amarr commandos at all tiers of these suits)
This will likely happen to the Templar suits as well, and as an owner of them, I welcome it. It's a much better deal since you still will have the BPOs, but the SKINs can be applied to more suits.

same, if they stay as BPO at least give us scout and commando. if they move to skin then give us the light skin too

I consider the Skin weave dropsuits to be very rare. I'm very fortunate to own them way back on December 2012. I joined Closed beta on July 2012.
