what happens? Within the first 5 minutes not even 10 clones have been taken, it took the best part of 7 or 8 minutes to actually find only a couple of kills!
why? because nobody wanted to compete with each other, instead of having 2 teams having a good fight they ended up doing nothing and playing like blue dots, this is NF and RE we're talking about....
they didn't exactly get smashed but me (17-4) and prima beat them by a clear margin when all was said and done.
all they wanted to do was hide on the roof KERONSIINI-TERO and yolo scout in particular.
this is getting pathetic, it was the best example of matchmaking I've ever seen yet it's one of the most boring, stale matches I've ever had! all because people want to pad their stats!
next game, tonnes of people camping on roofs, some SCRUB called bakasura driving around in full proto doing drivebys like a scrub.
this game will not last more than 12 months, if you want to keep camping on roofs and doing nothing then carry on, but don't blame me for calling you out when the game dies a horrible death. |

first of all LOOL. I'm not surprised to hear this, "Hey guys lets stay in a group and camp with proto on roofs", "Good Idea I'll mass driver spam from there and you can use forgun!". And I have seen that bakasura guy before, hes duna's watchdog takes care of any swarms and anti-av scouts around his tank.
You can complain all you want about lasers. Despite the nerfs it will rip you to shreds.

I know that Bakasura,he often jumps out of duna tank if someone gets near it.I used to be one of those watchdogs but i quited when I saw that Duna is a noob when he leaves the tank.Otherwise,he couldn't survive without scrubs in his tank.

Well, two shotting, isk rich proto scrubs relying on server lag will usually cause people to quit and go do something more productive and less formulaic and predictable.
The blame is with your heroes, not the regular guys.

There is a reason I left negative feedback after only one day.
In many of the proto stomping corporations the ego's are so big that you can barely think. They tend to be farely average too. They specialize in one thing only and tend to fall apart in any one v. one's. Also, many of the "good" players tend to be the guys that let their subordinates take the damage while they shoot the enemy and get all the points. I like fluid teammates not annoying teammates that think highly of themselves even though they have no adaptability in battle whatsoever.

I actually got a few good matchmaking set ups during the event. Enough so to make me put away my installation farming fit or hack fit and dig in. I saw alot of old names too felt kinda like the old days. Even gal fw matches were hard fought, sent quite a few ggs during the past 3days.
Side note: Boy is it fun to match some names with forum a
bravado and see that...well, they aint so raw when you get your hands on them.

no proto-stomp team is full without a gal logi...me being the lonewolf i love the feeling of when you get a kill with knives and a minute later 'YOU'VE BEEN SCANNED' for the entire match

Predict how long will game last just from behaviour of some boykos is not quite is not much smart.
Because their ingmae behaviour and gameplay is irrelevant on game longevity.

Honestly the fact that you can always run proto is a much bigger sign of decline in the game than the game play itself the OP mentions. It a way to balance the teams is not found new players will leave and there will be even fewer players than there are now. All proto all the time was never the way the game started, but now new guys face 2/3rd proto teams all day. So guys running it don't have a clue what hard mode is on here. Some of you guys run your militia or basic fit for a day and see how that feels. Then remember you also have 20mill SP on suit upgrades that at least make them better. Team balance and wealth are the issues not play style. |

I'm not gonna tell you what to do, obviously, you can run officer gear 24/7 for all I care. I will tell you why I personally don't run a lot of proto or officer suits, though, even if I could afford to: For the challenge. It feels a lot more satisfying getting kills in my advanced, no-HP-mods scout suit than running around in full proto, laden with HP and always have a couple of buddies nearby. I like to feel like I earned my kills and war points by playing smarter or sneakier than the opposition. Running in squads like I usually see you Prima guys do would just be boring to me.
But each to his own, you play your way, I'll play my way. But rest assured I'll feel superior to you every time I get a kill on you guys, get a decent KDR, sneak in a hack behind your back or simply keep you occupied for a couple of minutes. Even if you win and otherwise completely stomp my team :-P |
