This happens all the time, it's nothing new, and sadly, it doesn't seem like the devs can find it, or care to find out what causes this glitch and subsequently fix it.

When you have beeing scanned and enter the redline the timer on your screen ticks down slower though in the game itself its still only 20 secs. Thats why you die while you think that you have still 5 secs remaining.

Entering the redline is sometimes the only way to secure a retreat, destroy or hack an installation, and there are other reasons I have gone there too but I can't think of them at the moment... The point is the redline timer should be more accurate just cause... Of coarse that being said I also think that the red line should be moved further out on some maps... Hey, here's a wacky thought, what if there were a timer in which both teams had about 30sec to 1min inside their safe zone (behind the other teams redine) to enter the main battlefield or be destroyed in a similar fashion? (I know this wouldn't be very popular with a lot of people right now, but at least something like that could help solve both this problem and a number of others I have been seeing/hearing about lately... of coarse the numbers could be changed... let me know what people think, if I get enough thumbs up then I will make a post suggestion.) |

I was out by the point at their redline and actually had to retreat into it to get away from an enemy, died upon making my way back into the field, basically a foot inside the redline with 5 seconds left and I die.
That's why I care, it's not like I was camping and going in for a kill. |

So are you suggesting this as a feature or idea to discuss?
I've lost many suits to many glitchesGǪ i really like the fall forever when spawning on an uplink. Have not experienced that in some time though, maybe it got patched.

Only talking pubs, but the only times I've thought that is one map that spawns you too close to the side redline. Even then because it awkwardly laps over the road. |

I've had quite a few times in Domination where there were only two places to spawn and they were both completely covered by enemies and/or enemy fire... the point is that there are times when unless the enemy backs off in an attempt to lure you out there is no reason whatsoever to engage the enemy (just hide if you have the WP or leave if you don't). |
