I'm finally free, completed all missions... Now we wait.

Phuu.... Yes, finished everything yesterday evening (read: night).
Honestly, I never thought I would make it, but fortune looked my way and gave me way more time to play than I normally have.

I have to say, this event looked fine on paper, but brought out the worst aspects of many people, including me.
Things like leaving matches, full Proto in pubs, ruining any chances of your own team (not caring) were rampart, and I was as guilty as everybody else. Please forgive me....

@CCP: For next event, please award teamplay and winning above everything else. Perhaps a support challenge?

For those that have those pesky installations left, I recommend Proto Cal Scout with Kudo's Plasma Cannon. Together with kinkats, cardiac regulators, cloak and a shitload of damagemods you will get to and destroy installations before anybody else.
(Turret installation goes down in three (double) shots.)

I just wish we could have an event that was not completely destructive to normal game play.

We have blueberries fighting over installation kills to start the match.

Mid level players are not giving a damn about taking anything they are just farming kills and assists together while still losing.

Tank spam from people who are racing to get the installations and then sitting in the red line waiting for installations to get hacked is at a all time high.

Nobody counter hacks because those don't count for the event.



I mean come on. Set the bar as high as you want to complete an event but don't make it so that half the community stops putting in a single bit of effort in winning a match. We already have problems with AFKers and people leaving battle as it is so making a **** show out of the people that are playing just kills everything. I can barely stand to play more than 2 or 3 matches at a time.
