if it is selected that's 90% of what gametypes i get.
if it is not selected i fall asleep before i get a match.
can we all just play skirm for the weekend plz?

I theoretice there is a bug.
A bug, if you have all four modes selected, the match builder starts from domination always.
All players tired of 5+ min waits tend to check all game modes. So there we would have a vicious cycle.
Hard to prove by users, but the reality does support this theory.

How about NO. I got my 125 kills under 6 hours in Dom :)
Now I'm at 90 kill assists so CHECK DOMINATION and Ignore the rest of the scrubby modes :)

Play skirmish for 4 hours for the hacks. Domination for everything else.

I finished my hacks and assists today and did kills and installations yesterday it was easy as pie only reason it took so long is cause i keep dcing or lag teleporting all over

I needed one kill today, and got the gal lag facility 3 times back to back, couldnt even move inside the facility it was so bad, almost shaved my head and joined a monastery. Insane.

Naturally, that's true.
But it still doesn't explain the total lack of existence of late EU ambushes or skirmishes.
Or same on Asian servers. Or diffuculty even on US servers.
(I have long history of trying to get the following and have dozens of screencaps showing extreme queue times:
- ambush: 10+ min waits, still no match. Sometimes multiple of those in a row, I have documented 33mins of queues and no game
- amb+skirm+dom: 10+ min waits and no game.)
There are two good examples which don't fit the positive feedback loop scenario:
* When Acquisition was new, there still was hard to get Acqs. I refuse to believe that within the first two weeks of the launce of Acqs there wouldn't be a single game/more than 1 game currently running!
* This Krin's event with 25 hack mission. People DO queue for skirmishes in order to get those precious hacks - but still Skirms are at times hard to get! Makes. No. Sense.

UPDATE:
Just a moment ago, on Saturday in EU prime time,
our squad of six did not find a match with all three Amb Skirm and Acq selected.
6+ min wait, then about 4min wait until added Dom into mix. Less than a min and deploying.

Domination.. gamemode withe the worst maps and layouts.
Gamemode completly based on camping and spamming.
Overall it's boring, repetetive and sadly people search for it all the time.
It's like waiting in a line to watch paint dry.

Skirm lags, Aq is roof camping, ambush is perma proto scan with laser shows and dom *mix them altogether*. 
You can complain all you want about lasers. Despite the nerfs it will rip you to shreds.

i'm more interested in getting a decent sample of data to analyze instead of just recording the extreme long waits.
but dont stress about it, really the devs should be able to just tell us how it works. instead of us guessing based on small samplesize data.

Its not really a bug per say. The matchmaker is essentially a voting system when you have more than one game mode selected.
If 31 players have all 4 checked and a 32nd player searches with only dom selected then everyone plays a dom.
Remove NPC orbitals from FW. -- Fix orbital timers for Eve players assisting in Planetary Conquest.
