what if one of the items is out of stock in the place we are docked at. This sir implies that eveonline will be given the option to build our items. Take into account that meta 1 and 5 are build able and meta 2-4 are drops, unless i'm mistaken. This would create a new sub-economy in eve tho which would be aimed towards the smaller corporations. In turn Big alliances would supply their dust sub-corporations because we all know thats going to happen.

If Dust is eventually opened to the full EVE market, those same rules would apply. If, for example, an average merc would make 100K ISK per battle but use 2-3 respawns and a vehicle, all expenses would have to fit into that income. No other system would actually work. You'd either run out of ISK or run around in rubbish gear. Players buy what they can afford and what is logical. Prices are only high if they break that rule. Eventually prices settle around what makes sense. Might take some time but eventually all the high prices will have to drop as no player will buy.
