so I just skilled one point into gal scout just because I thought it'd make my dragonfly scout suit better, I had stacked 3 enhanced damps which gave me 18db before even putting a point into gal scout now I have a profile of 19db with one point in gal scout

so please explain to me what happened the precision seems to have improved but the profile got worse??

can anyone confirm this for me or am I the only one? and if so which number is correct

also just checked the profile of a gal light frame vs the scout frame with stacked damps the light frame and scout frame share the profile of 19 but the precision is 36 db for the light frame and 35 for the scout frame these are all std frames

I'm fairly certain that the db prior to skilling into the suit was 18 and I wish I had some proof but I did not think this would happen, I would understand if the db remained the same but instead it seems to have increased

I could be wrong and I'd appreciate if someone did the math for me, I remember seeing it be 18 db and I was running it as such, but I may have just thought it was 18 while it could have actually been 19 as the amarr scout, the neo version as I have not skilled into it still give me 19db with 3 stacked enhanced damps

if anyone has the gal dragonfly scout with lvl 3 in dampening and no skills into the gal scout please verify what db it has the numbers may be wrong one way or the other, I wasnt planning on putting more points into the gal scout but only because I needed to stay under 18 db now I am forced to put more points into it or max out my damp skills, and skilling the scout to 3 would be easier then maxing dampening

I am not familiar with the suits but one thing to remember is that the light suit and the scout suit are totally different suits. It could very well be the case that the DB is slightly higher starting out to balance where it ends up after skills are applied.

Basic frames are pointless, and need to be removed.

This also adds that they're confusing and stupid. Some of their stats are better, some are worse.
Earlier, I only wanted to skill into amarr light frames- I don't need the scout bonus. Then I found out that amarr light frames have terrible fitting stats, so I had to shovel SP into upgrading to scouts in order to make a decent fit.
