I've pulled off some amazing stuff with a controller. 3. I've spent most of my youth (now I'm 25) in isshin ryuu karate training the real old fashioned way, so my fingers are extremely stiff when fully extended so controllers are the way to go for me

Honestly I'm just glad to see the strafe glitch go....
I was tired of be 1v1ed by some officer level guy with a 24/1 kd running in wide open space while I have cover because they can glitch. Which is otherwise known as cheating...
Now my K/D is shooting up and I kill dozens of those guys all day still trying to wiggle because the have the habit.
Bottom line is if you are complaining about it that's sad. Adapt to the fact a cheat was removed from the game. Now learn to play the game the way it was intended......Strategically.

I can attest that the KBM controls are indeed no better than a controller, which I tend to use for vehicles and a few others situations. I come from the PC FPS tradition, so KBM felt more natural to me. My ps3 is set up in my home office on a desk to accommodate my preferred peripherals. KBM has an advantage for sniping and forging (for me at least), but doesn't have the advantage of aim assist for anything. |

Burning Finger fights 5 step heart explosion strike?
Yeah, I jammed a Gundam reference in with a Kill Bill. Kaboom!
BTW - I agree about the controllers. I play on my PC and shooters feel fake without the locked in position of elbows in and thumbs/fingers ready to kill. KBM was meant for strategy games and MMOs.

I use both, depending on the game. Dust feels better with a controller. PS2 feels better with KBM. I'm sure it has a lot to do with movement speed, turn speeds, weapon types, etc.

I don't use that rubbish unless I'm in a heavy suit and I want to catch a scout using ultra invisible cloak glitch. Also sniping works fine.

I don't use auto aim kid. So enjoy the neg K/D while I wreck your little whiner face. You're probably a pistol glitcher anyway. The guys that wiggle and complain usually are. |

No. He knows my secret. Wait, I play other shooters that don't have auto aim and do even better. (Raises eyebrows) Now I need to smite this guy.

Agree with you boyko, game is basicaly fabulous right now. Helevete i was killmachine today and quite honestly i will be back for krin (or wthelvete is his name) salvage run after one or two runs in destiny PoE (mean two hours in destiny for helmets rest of evening and night in Dust). It looks like Dust 514 slowly kicking back tbh and after this patch im really glad i did not left this game before how i wanted.

Strafe wasn't just about wiggle.
I used it to face the enemy and return fire as I side stepped to safety. After strafe nerf, ttk is faster than strafe speed to cover, so now if you are caught near cover, you can either take your chances returning fire since you won't be able to strafe to cover in time, or turn around and run back to cover and most likely die in the process because turning rate is so slow.
As a result, I think many will either brick tank, or run directly face on into the opponent with a weave. Strafing to cover is out. |

Everything is fine, strafe judt glitched out projectiles before. Game feels better and tbh i did not have issue with find a cover. Game feels more like protper tactics right now, i finaly used strategic thinking about enviroment what was not helpfull before. And how i can see it was not faul of my gameplay, but it was an issue with broken mechanic what is finaly out. Ergo any other suggestions are in my eyes tries to implement another instability/crutch.
