Anyone else getting ungodly loading time when logging in, buying/restocking, or just opening something like the mailbox?

Scratch that, I signed out to see if that would fix the problem, big mistake. There is no signing back in, you go through 3 long loading sequences just for it to say "**** YOU, it failed, try again."

I agree and I feel your sentiment, I really wanted to complete this event but there's no way I can now. Because of about 1/4 of the community still playing, CCP won't extend the event period like the jerks they are because of this, and now people like us won't be getting the skin and can't participate in the event. I love DUST, don't get me wrong. But this is just too much. I don't care how bad you get shat on in the game, I just care about playing it.

Temporary server issues happen sometimes, yes it's frustrating but stuff will be okay in a few hours or at the very worst tomorrow.
Don't get yourself in a panic because a *game* is 'unplayable' for a few hours on one day.
Edit: it's already clearing up and getting a lot better.
