This happens. Players jump around a lot.
The best way to deal with something like this might be to make it part of the game. SInce there is stamina for the drop suit, there could be a severe stamina penalty for players that make sequential jumps, one after another. So that they go into some sort of stamina penalty and have to move really slowly for a few seconds during recovery.
UNLESS they invest the skill points and isk/ aurum into buying a special module that negates the successive jump stamina penalty. So if players wanted to make a bunny hop load out they would have to invest in it at the expense of other skills, abilities, etc.
There should be no penalty for running, jumping, firing, running some more.... it's a lot of fun to be able to jump over terrain and obstacles in the environment.

I can jump only twice , then stamina is out , its ok how it is now , makes you think twice. |

It's working right now as the OP intended. I bet the OP didn't pay much attention to that. Even scouts are limited. |

Err, Should have done more testing, observation. Yes, a number of players will take a bounce when their shields get breached. But usually not too many bounces.
Thanks for replies.
Backing away quickly seems to work better than jumping for me to avoid fire. So haven't been tempted to deplete stamina jumping. |

While its true one can only jump twice in a row, if a player manage the stamina or space the jumps i am sure theres plenty of jumping to be had since stamina recharges very fast. |
