How could we address that?
By boosting I mean coordinating with the other team to shuffle around players using stacked faction boosters to optimize their (AUR purchase and) LP gain with reduced effort/great match result certainty. To make it less easier to spot, opposing teams would put up a friend fight against standard gear, but make sure to let all points to be captured to run the match down faster. If you unabashedly want to end a match fast I also have a great deal of experience with organizing and encouraging suicide squads.
CCP would obviously take measures if this got out of control, but in the mean time there's nothing stopping you from claiming that you are a simple awoxer engaging in the sandbox of New Eden. I will be happy to run 8 man suicide squads in FW when Warlords 1.2 deploys.

CCP hasn't always had the best track record for following boosters in PC battles, however PC's have had the benefit of not being able to spool up instantly with a q-sync. How easy will it be to legitimately track boosters as a 16v16 system seems to encourage the same players facing each other?

Eh it's nothing really new. You can count on at least one team killer in every match, if not an out right spy. In the very least a lot of the 'successful' team syncs have at least a handful of AFK players they plan on the other team. Frankly I think team syncing would solve a lot of these problems. Not that they wouldn't happen, but at least it would be a full 16 vs 16 dummy alts to boost their win/loss ratio and all that.
If people want to kill themselves to get easy wins in boring games, let them que up as full teams against themselves. Leave the rest of us out of it. |

This is a reason platoons would probably be better than 8 player squads for FW. A dead weight 8 player squad jumping in front of your bullets is more damaging for player moral than simply having a 16 player organized platoon dedicated to serious play. |

Boosting is something that CCP has already put code in for. Once you hit a certain WP threshold the SP gained from that WP diminishes.
