So after a week of keeping track here are some numbers for you.
110 games
565 deaths
512 by fully auto scrambler rifles...
Come the **** on CCP fix this ****.
I'm done with the game after this week if it does not get fixed. Getting sniped from 100+ meters by the shield eating scramblers by noobs with modded controllers is really getting old. Tired of dumbasses with heavy suits just walking out of cover because they know they can 1v1 anyone with a FOTM setup. Why has this been going on this long. Cal suits are useless in this environment. Numbers don't lie and hopefully you have a similar system of tracking info like this on your ghetto game. Dozens of ways to die on here, yet over 90% are by one method.....hmmm...
MAYBE YOU NEED TO FIX IT!!!!

You don't need modded controller to do good with it noob. And if you're so fixated, why don't you try to counter it? This game is all about versatility and flexibility wit the combat. Use your brain.

Fully upgraded ScR will eat your shield in second especially on amar suits.
And later it will eat clone too.
Try ScR and stagger fire you will see what is possible just with finger.
You remember what corporal dwayne hicks told us in Aliens ;)

Best counters = rail tank or a amarr heavy/calmando with a sniper and don't worry about the objective..it's not like anyone else does anyways

you realize that this person isnt wrong? the scrambler rifle has already been confirmed for a nerf but who knows when that will be as a lot of changes seem to be coming, the other rifles might be getting buffed to be on par but there was talk of bringing down uncharged damage down and making the charged multiplier higher
who knows how it all will turn out but for now there are ways to keep the ScR from killing you so fast whether that be maxing out your sentinel skills so you don't take as much damage, damping up a scout to not be seen and kill them while they aren't looking
or plain out out ranging them although that is probably the most difficult option as it excels at almost all ranges
if they cant hit you they cant hurt you, speed fits can work well if you know how to use them
newbie ways to counter I say would be to stack armor and use a Flaylock or Bolt pistol, try to get head shots with the BP and use the flay lock in and out of cover so don't just stand there only come out of cover to shoot and don't be so predictable because those charge shots are deadly

What a coincidence. I had one death to a fully semi-automatic Breach Shotgun this week. I know, I know, it's a totally unbelievable number, but this really is getting totally out of hand. Nerf Breach Shotguns pls.

I find it odd that you have less than 10% of your deaths can attributed to anything thing other than a scrambler rifle. shotguns, ar, cr, rr, tanks, hmgs, fg, dropships, installations, from militia to proto killed you 53 times in 110 matches.
take away the scrambler and you believe you should have died on average once every two matches, running infantry.
looks like scramblers do a good job of keeping shield suits in check.
or shields are ridiculously op vs everything else
or youre doing something fishy and scramblers are op enough to keep up with you. nobody running on the ground averages 0.5 deaths per match especially vs everything in dust.

Why would you need a modded controller for an assault scrambler?
It's already automatic, and extremely hard to overheat.

Indeed. Methinks regular Scr is fine, but not Ascr. Unnoticeable overheat limit, next to no recoil nor dispersion, and insane damage paralleling ARR at the same distance. Except Ascr sights are easier to use.
