I never trusted anyone for trading, so I never paid much attention to it, thinking it was only a means of scamming. I'm probably right, who actually trades?
Recently a friend got a blueprint, a quafe forge gun. He doesn't use or like forg guns, so I asked if I could have it. he said sure, but when he went to trade with me, he could only pick officer weapons. What I'd like to know is if that's just how restricting trading is, or is it a rank requirmen? |

I have small shop and i never scammed anybody.
Trading works like this.
You have few items what you can sell (they have small icon ot two small men with arow between them).
You choose person who asked you for that stuff and you choose amout of stuff to send.
I personaly prefere to receive money before to avoid scam from other side.
But carefull that dumbshates from *ehm*concord*ehm* want some "post money" for transaction as well (bigger amount = bigger money for sending).

According to CCP, trade is slowly expanding in phases to mitigate any bugs that can be severely damaging to the game. I would rather lose all my BPOs to a scam than to lose one of them to a bug. That way I know it is my fault.
As it currently stands, there is a bug where if you send an item to an Eve Online character (you'll spot them when you see their "show info" window) it will disappear from the game entirely (no one will have it) and you will have to send a petition to CCP to bring it back. So far, that is the ONLY bug in the trade system.
There will come a time when BPOs become tradable. Just be patient. At the very least you can now trade 7-Day Active Boosters, 30-Day Passive Boosters, Officer/Experimental gear, and SKIN modules that you purchased from the NPC market.

Trade notifications are also still broken.
The other issue is if they make everything tradeable in the current state of one window to show all items it will likely be unusable thanks to load time.
