Frame, Rat Man, SKINs.

VAHZZ Corrosive Synergy No Context 3	Posted - 2015.06.26 03:55:00 - [1] - Quote As I was strolling through deviantART, google, YouTube, looking through all the old beta days, the beautiful fan art that we had, all the hope that gleamed. One Image in particular caught my eye. http://pre12.deviantart.net/960d/th/pre/i/2013/108/3/7/dust_514_by_hughebdy-d615ean.jpg As you can see here, this outstandingly gorgeous picture by mr Hugh Ebdy, depicts a certain racial merc, in a very heated battle; as he crouches in protection from the Lazer Rifles. Blue tanks and a weirdly shapen merc fight in what appears to be a war torn city. I know it is a city, but I have thought to myself "Is this city perhaps on Caldari Prime?" But then I released that was a stupid answer. All the cascading colors, the saturated blues and reds contrasting the dulled shades of greys. The colors really caught my eye in the preview of the image, out of all the other images. What really got me was that merc, that merc right in the center, ducking behind cover even though his head is exposed, that merc that appears to be in the armor that was in the beta. That merc with the reds and greens on his armor. And I just thought to myself, "That would make a beautiful SKIN." I know we can't have that armor back, but what if CCP could make that beauty right there, into a SKIN? It is very simple yet elegant. I know we are already getting a new free SKIN (where the fudge is the newsletter!?) And I just thought I would share this. Rattata, or Frame. We had a lot of talent in the old Fan Art Thread, perhaps we could take some old concepts and turn them into SKINs. Like that weird ass CONCORD Dropsuit concept.. Want some Nostalgia?

I know it is a Caldari frame, and the blue is the old Lazer Rifle, it used to be blue back in beta. This picture was made back in beta.

If you look closely on the segmented joints(the cloth underneath the armor) it is actually a deep hue of red. Also, as you realized, there is red on the helmet, more than just the visor. And then the green. It isn't really a boring combo, it may not be decadent or extravagant but it still has exuberance. And only the specs of red/orange and blue are reflection of the battle.
