Skins are near impossible to sell and trade publicly without getting scammed. I'm not here to cry, but seriously there needs to be a proper trade system which show the items or isk being transferred. How do you expect an economy to develop when people are being ripped off at every turn.
And to all you professional scammers out there. You're pathetic. Scamming innocent people in a video game so you can wear the best gear and feel like you're good. It's truly sad. |

Welcome to New Eden my good man. I am not trying to be mean or anything but scamming has been in Eve Online since long before I started playing year's ago. CCP has not done anything on there to stop it other then ban people who use bot's to spam local. But if/when they put player market in like on eve it will help some but not that much.
But if you want to try and get people to stop scamming a step you could take is to get there names on a form page and maybe try and get some proof like a video or a few pic's to warn players of them but this fight is one thing that will be there till long after you move on to some other game and even then you might have to deal with it there as well. |

If they hold proficient guile in order to relieve players of their in-game assets that is totally fine with me. I will simply make a note of it in the the blacklist scoreboard on Trello. |

For one, trade with people whom you know that they are on their main or you know who their main is (e.g. All my chars have Operative and a number before their names). Also, people that post here in the forums have a reputation to protect (if they know what's good for them). I for one wouldn't want this character to get a bad rep from trading.
But yeah, what we have now is not a proper in-game trade mechanic like EVE. We need contract mechanics as EVE does. I'm not going to believe that is complicated to add to the game.
As a matter of fact that is a good thing to add to my CPM platform.

Alright... Let's get one thing straight.
Trading is not forced. It's not something you are required to do to advance in the game. If you are worried about getting scammed, don't ******* trade. Or, buy at a higher price from Hadah. He's got some SKINs I sold him that he'll try to turn a profit to and he's selling them in the Black Market. Sometimes, paying the extra 5 mil is better than losing 30 mil.
You have NO SAY in how trading turns out. NONE. You aren't going to influence CCP by making a post trashing the current system. If you want them to even think about change, you oughta try to be constructive. Honestly, the system is working exactly as intended, so get off CCP's back.
Dual Tanking on Cal suits isn't a sin. Try it out and stop saying shields are gimped.

This is a really good idea. This could be a first step to a player-driven, regulated economic system within Dust. Isn't that kind of like what Eve has? |

I can agree that currently, it is too easy to be scammed. A trading window would be nice.
I'm fine with the idea of people being able to scam, but perhaps adding a 1-5mil isk fee, high value asset safe trade would be nice. An optional insurance measure speciffically for very valuable trades is nice. Trustworthy people can act as middlemen for a smaller fee, or you can take a risk. Spending more than 10mil on something, you might consider it. Or just buy from a friend/trusted party without it. I can only see that as a boon to people who like to trade on the side.

Scamming is not out of control. What these guys are doing is theft. CCP are absolute fools for letting this go on with real money items. People are going to start getting the idea to use alts for this kind of trade and just charge back with Sony when someone makes off with a skin or a booster or whatever.
In Eve CCP only answers to the credit card companies, in Dust CCP answers to Sony and Sony controls their money.
Sony does not give a **** and will charge it right on back with any little lie. The only welcome that is going to happen is CCP getting welcomed to the facts of being governed by a large company that only cares about their reputation even if it is at the cost of CCPs wallet. |

Welcome to new eden blah, blah, blah?!
Where a person, lacking any kind of integrity already, has been given a place to be a complete scrub equipped with an excuse.

Stay away from those, "welcome to new eden where I take pride in being a douche", types.
"Anybody order chaos?"
