ok,
I just started late this week so I don't fully know how things work yet but can the Dropkit fitting layout be adjusted?
I dislike the circular layout of the suit slots as the joystick makes it hard to select the slot you pick.
Maybe there is a button to skip from slot to slot?
I would much prefer a linear slot layout with horizontal lines for the CPU, PG, Grenade, equipt, slots and the budget remaining figures at the end of the CPU and PG lines.
Maybe a total cost to equip/re-equip that suit layout somewhere.
instead of the circular fitting layout.
for each slot, use the up/down button to scroll through a list of available choices for each slot instead of selecting and going to another menu tree.
similar to the BF Bad Company 2 loadout choice menu.
maybe add a custom appearance/camo selection line for Flaming helmets, zebra camo armor, etc
Then maybe in one corner preview the appearance that would mirror what you have selected like BF and COD have their appearance previews. |

I'm going to assume you've never played EvE, because you're asking this quesiton.
Eve fitting has always been in the circular layout. It looks clean and crisp, and tbh, I don't have problems with it on the ps3.
For reference, here is what the eve fitting screen looks like:

And the old version of it:

Hope this gives you some insight. TBH, I don't think eve players would have it any other way. And just so you know, this is one of those things CCP is extremely unlikely to change, even if people liked it. |

you are correct , I'm a non-Eve player.
ok, they can keep the circular fitting layout,
but at least add a button to "scroll" between open slots.
the left stick selection seems a bit "jumpy" to me, it takes me 3 or 4 tries to select the Sidearm slot or the corner nanohive slot.
I get select the slots on the extreme far left and right fine, but the corner ones seem hard to get to. |

I agree, it can be difficult to navigate the fitting layout - I suspect this will be fixed in the next build? |

Yeah, we've got some serious menu lag right now. Hopefully next build will clear a lot of that up. Without the lag I think you'd come to like the interface but it can be troublesome right now. |

It's part of the memory leak that leads to crashes. Notice it is a lot more responsive right after a reset? |

as said the fitting screen is traditional and works quite well once you get the hang of it just hang in there,
The camo idea i liked the idea right up till "Flaming helmets, zebra camo armor, etc" mabye something a bit more serious sort of desert camo, jungle camo, snow, and night at least mabye the other ones for a laugh but i realy dont think it should be the primary idea of the camo. |

I just mentioned the flaming helmets and zebra armor to throw out some ideas.
I dunno,
I think wearing a flaming helmet might look cool!
NO - I am not 12 years old either. |

Well, better a flaming helmet than 3 helmets stacked on top of each other like that one shooter is notorious for doing.. It's not even a shooter anymore, it' a haberdashery with guns. |
