Location: 'Train Map'
Gamemode: Acquisition
You know that center building on the map where you would drop down to get to the objective if you were playing Domination on this map? Around the top of that building is where the cheating is happening. On top of the building there are stairs that take you up to the street, behind those stairs is a layer of rock. Apparently you can get into that layer of rock and just run around underneath the street shooting everyone that runs to that area. If you are familiar with Acquisition this is the area where the 3rd objective location is a lot of the matches so that makes this a big issue.
Now this is where I call people out. I first noticed this about a few weeks ago and I only noticed that it was Soniic Howl of Carne Con Papas doing this. I get teamed up with/against Soniic Howl a lot and I have seen him do this at least a dozen times. I even know the class he uses when he does this (Officer Caldari Suit with a Luis' Combat Rifle and Thale's Sniper Rifle, Core Locus Grenade to boot). Every match he would get something like 20+ kills and 0 deaths. I reported the issue to CCP after I verified for certain to myself that Soniic Howl was in fact doing something shady.
Now the reason I am taking this to the forums is to give out a warning because after tonight I now know of 3 people who know of this map glitch. Tonight, all in the same match, I caught Soniic Howl pulling this crap like always, I noticed Clon Toxin might have also been doing this (I also feel like I might have caught him doing it in another match as well), and I am about 100% positive I caught someone named Pr0ject Omen doing this. Soniic Howl and Clon Toxin are a part of Carne Con Papas but I believe Pr0ject Omen is a part of D.A.R.K.L.E.G.I.O.N.
Since this map glitch is apparently known by several people I would advise everyone to use caution when playing that map. Keep your wits about ya. |

I can attest to this.
Your post made me smile as me and a corp-mate witnessed Sonic Howl doing the exact same thing in a very similar load-out a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I stopped recording a long while ago, as rarely play any more, so have no footage.

I reported this to CCP as well (with insructions on how to get into the glitched area) a month ago and have yet to get a response. I have a friend who does this and says "It's part of the game until CCP patches it. I will use it to my full advantage. I know you sent a ticket, but if they don't patch it, I will keep doing this. I hope they do patch it, but until they do, anyone has access to it, I'm just using every advantage I can get."
I'll send you a mail on how to do it in 2 days. I'll show you too. You can't get out of the rock without dying though, lol

This same thing applies to Domination too. We don't play Acquisition a lot, we mainly run Dom, so thanks for the info, I'll put in YET ANOTHER TICKET ABOUT THIS
CCP, UPDATES ARE COOL AND ALL, BUT FIX THE DAMN EXPLOITS FIRST

Last time i checked the person still had kills on the weekly leader board couple weeks street the report.

I saw the same situation in Domination with 2 Pandejitos players.
They stayed all game in that spot...the first 3 times i didn't understand how I died so i went cloaked and saw them in that spot, killing people in the back with the intention of not being seen. |

love how the biggest name corps get accused of cheating, makes me more likely to wanna gun them down, just for baseless reasons other than the fact is that they protostomped me a few days ago and now that its less people in the squad i can exact vengeance on their KDR's(at least till they ***** out of battle)

There are a few ways of countering this exploit. As follows:
1: Chuck REs on that rock (proto for best result) and detonate
2: Flux near the rock to get the links or hives
3: I have heard plc works not sure
4: Laser ob them (Not sure again) not the normal ob the laser.
5: Ignore and don't go that way
6: (I made this one) Block their view with a tank or Lav or DS 
7: Quit the game
You can complain all you want about lasers. Despite the nerfs it will rip you to shreds.

if you see anyone cheating quit the game and report them, the fact that people who are in those corps, with no-life level stats with access to that gear, have to stoop to that level just to get kills, is beyond me. |
