I have already suggested this long ago but another thread reminded me (because of Rattatis statement) and its time to refresh your memories again!
CCP Rattati wrote:Honestly, for some of these skills, I would rather go with "plus 1 PG", rather then infinitesimal decimals.
if that is your stance in regards of decimals, that arent even shown in the UI, well how about you remove them from modules fitting requirements too?
so far, as I know Basic Shield Recharger Complex Shield Recharger Enhanced Shield Energizer Complex Shield Energizer they all have those decimals in their fitting requirements. they might be more, I havent checked it.

Not sure if you talking about this as well. But when I was skilling into fitting on my assault rifle . I had to get it up 2-3 levels just to loss 1 pg on my weapon . This I found rather anoyying and a waste of alot of sp

I think the better fix would be to add 1 decimal point in fittings and stuff then round all numbers down to that.
Changing how skills work to minimize the number of decimals left over would require a refactoring of most of the skill tree and almost every single weapon and module in the game. Centering the entire game around small percentage increases and then rounding everything in the UI to whole numbers only seems like very poor planning. |

I would be careful with this if I were you as this would require some rebalancing of modules and bonuses across the board.

numbers are displayed rounded according to mathematical standards. e.g. if your total fit uses 100.1- 100.4 CPU your fit will require 100 CPU if your fit uses 100.5-100.9 it will require 101 CPU
using weapon fitting proficiency works, you just dont see it.

well, no one interested.
I guess no one cares about user experience. |
