You should download the Steam OS, make it work on a computer, and then play with a PS4 and re-think your choice-just saying!
Or you could read about the condition of the Steam OS and rethink your choice.
Or just think about the company, a company when a person gets, overworked, challenged, bored, frustrated can just up and quit their position and transfer into another department. Wow, maybe explains why nothing they have done on the steam machine is really working.

I'm really disappointed with ps4, all this so called power but i can't run a youtube playlist in the background while playing games and the ps3 is a more effective web browser |

That's my issues too..not everyone wants to hardcore game 24/7
