Seriously, this isn't even funny. I've been playing for 2 years and have 40 million skill points, but some guys I can't even touch. So, who is the best Dust514 player?

Respect for alot of the names in this thread .many of them I've know during chrome that have stuck through so much of this crap game. However playing PC ive seen barely any of the players you guys have mentioned.
So to update my op
Best Assault is now Arirana. You guys may disagree but PE cant win without this guy he brings 0.H so much trouble inside the city every time he is in the game and when he isn't in the game we laugh at the team they assemble inside the city. He seems to be a massive boost for them when he is present and 0.H truly notices when he isn't apart of the enemy team. We have yet to encounter a single person that gives us as much problems as this guy.

Best Logi is still undecided i just havent seen a guy that just makes his team unstoppable when they are around. 0.H has some good logi's. Our opposition brings some good logi's but its just so hard to see if these guys are shifting the game for us. That might just be the meta and I appologize to all the logi's out there for being unable to recognize your greatness.

Best Heavy is not Whataguy he hasn't made an official return he came for a visit and proved his dominance but alas he isn't back just yet. So because of this Best Heavy has to go to none other then Roman. Wait What i just post Gimme a second to go wash my mouth out with soap..... Best Heavy from what i have seen playing PC is Solar Qoio or whatever that dude's name is spelled. He has proven to be pretty damn dominant inside the city with or without a repper behind him. Each time i see this guy i get my face melted granted I'm usually running from a shotgunner but his aim is true enough and seems to destroy our advances on his point.

Best Scout in the game is still Nega Matix. I hear everyone saying different names with fusion commander and devin zer coming up most often but no one is as consistent and dominant as Nega. In games that 0.H gets wrecked in the city Nega is our brightspot. Dude just melts face going around and decimating the opposition. I'm sure scouts of old could be as good or better then this guy but right now no one is on his level right now.

People keep talking about best forge, best hmg, best shotgunner, best sniper, best tank, best ads, and best smg. A list like that would take forever keep talking about it but in terms of these 4 main types these are the guys that stand out in my mind. Hopefully you guys will attack 0.H and show us your brightspots.

You can determimate who's the best in less or more categories.

Overall - by how good they are, no matter of their role
By role - no explaination needed
By situation, gun, playstyle - more complex

But generally, if you want to decide who's better you should really make it into 2 categories.

1. DS3 users
2. Kb/m users

Everyone here makes some valid points. Here are a few names that make me run for the hills. Kaizuka Sniper, Kalante Schiffer, Warrior Kill, Usuckatdust Vagheitan. Honestly, there are so many ridiculously good players. That's hardly a 10th of my list. I remember 0.H. had this tanker I played with once, and oh my god was he the best tanker I've ever seen. He would take on 2-3 guys with forges/swarms in a rail tank and win.

by best is obviously meaning a slayer, i dont know about best but my most challenging opponents in no order actually wait regyum is hardest in 1v1 and then the others would be; Extacy,Sax, Mexx, KTM, Toyboi, kuroko and thats basically all I can think of right now until they get back on and i can remember them

I would have to put my money on King Thunderbolt.

The guy was a beast when he still played. In terms of sheer skill, the dude seemed to have all of it. He could single-handedly take on coordinated squads and he often would carry his entire team to victory.

It didn't matter what you came at him with; he would out-gun and drop you dead in your tracks. The only players who could give him a run for his money were cheaters and lagswitchers.

Name dropping aside, Kalante is the only person that the only person I was honest about them being better than me was scared to 1v1. I only played with him twice, but he plays smart, nothing impressive, just winning fights.

still claims he is better than Arirana which some people are, but to be honest even though i don't like shiyou hidiyoshi he out-guns most

The people who have realized the useless nature of a game with zero actual advancement or end game and moved on are the true best players of Dust.

You're not a player if you don't play the game.

I refer to the leaderboards however, it all comes down to character of the player for me. People who are humble tend to actually get my respect. I enjoy winning and losing based on good sportsmanship.

The best that ever played was James5955 people.

The best in the game is probably Kalante or Alldin if he still plays.

It's a bit dated but a great place to start.
