It doesn't seem OP to me, but it is over performing pretty much EVERY side arm. (Yes even the smg, at least, all I've seen in kill feed today were bolt pistols) Maybe a small damage NERF? It stronger than a sniper and I don't think that should be the case. Also, the ion pistol (which I have been using all day) needs a small damage and range buff. I mean it is not as bad as when the AR reigned supreme, obliterating anything in seconds, but it is close...and it is a friggin sidearm. I don't see many people using it, maybe a couple of strays, but not a lot. So it is not OU. But it is definitely OverPowered/OverPerforming/OP. Sicerly Yaw Quantum times 319	Posted - 2015.06.21 21:59:00 - [5] - Quote no popularity does not equal to being OP the problem if any at all is AA not even hit detection it has always been AA and that is what is making the BP OP, Instead of ruining any other weapons why not just remove AA so people can stop complaining shot guns have the same problem but no one complains and no one used to use the BP they are only now using it because It has almost become the FOTM sidearm you see all the dust youtubers using it thus its popularity, by no means is it OP and it has far less DPS then most weapons ever shot has a .4 second delay meaning it takes that long to even shoot it then the kick animation happens by the time you are charging up the second shot close to a second has gone by

And I don't like it. Not a fan of caldari weapons. Don't use cloak. I have adv precision and there is barley any time to take cover when you do CQC. Over sampling is a big problem with the Ion Pistol. Often the server assumes all my shots are just one giant shot. Put your flags up in the sky. And wave them side to side. SMG is still better in every category aside from sheer range and sheer annoyingness. Nerfing the bolt pistol basically means reducing the number of practical sidearms down to one, because the ion/scrambler/magsec all suck and nova knives are kind niche, and the flaylock is too situational for me to be happy with.

If you past a single tick, you're screwed basically as you'll overheat after a few more shots. I'm just saying it feels lousy having that AND a low RoF for an assault CQC Pistol. But whatever. If they are just targeting AA or magnatism, the BP should be fine in theory with the strafe nerf. ADS should be encouraged anyways. Honestly, the other sidearms should be buffed (shameless sidearm enthusiast). The front line rifles have gotten way too much attention compared to the other elements in the game. Below 28 dB

ISASMG is my sidearm of choice. or the IP. love my wall of bullets smg. ever tried compelx sidearm mods with the ishy assault........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... used to run the ishy assault back when it was op.....almost. only had a bit more ROF than the norm smg variant. but it defently had more range and damage. *Elite Gallenten Soldier*
