CCP you could buff ADS by doing something so simple its unreal. You dont need to buff any turrets, any skills not even the ADS HP or fitting. What we the pilots really need is precision to land our shots. How to achieve this? Very simple you put a patch out that allows us to turn the first person camera UP/DOWN alternatively you could add a option on the dropship controlls to deactivate auto recentering of the camera.
This way we dont need to do fling shots with out small missiles and hope it hits the guy down below. When i go into first person piloting i want to be aible to turn the camera down. I know that this is possible cause when i try to do that i can hear the turning sound from my small turret though the camera itself stays static which means nothing happends.
So please CCP instead of jumping back and forth just give us pilots actual precision controlls that way we might be aible to kill the minmando before he murders us with a quafe swarm launcher.

Honestly, if they just lowered the camera down just slightly so that you can shoot what you're aiming at whilst hovering parallel to the ground, I'd be happy. Right now if you try to hover and shoot someone that isn't 60-100m away from you you're just going to nose-dive into the dirt. It'd be amusing if it weren't so frustrating.

It doesn't change everything, nor does it fix the biggest issue facing (A)DS pilots (which is a near completely irrelevant role) it would help.

Balance before new.
ADS and DS are merely flying WP units. Even when the pilot is able to evade death the AV crowd are collecting +75WP for easily taking half the armor off with a single strike.
The only solution in a battle is to run. Don't run immediately? Get ready to be in a new clone.
That is not fun. You know fun, right? Video games are supposed to be that, funny enough. That's what I heard anyway. 
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

Good pilots can go 30/0. I've seen it when I'm running against it with proto min mando with 2 proto damage mods, and wiki swarms. Sure, I got 300 points off of the pilot, but he got 300 points off me too, killing me 6 times. Sure, buff the health, but nerf the speed, and range. (Or buff swarms range) |

I don't disagree that dropships need more tweaking, but regarding relevancy, didn't Rat's StatsGäó show Pythons as #4 in PC kills recently? I certainly haven't been in a PC lately that wasn't chock full of 'em. Regular DS, too, really.

The few dedicated pilots that are here have generally pushed CCP for a proper first person camera since the day ADS were introduced.
CCP lacks the knowledge to dig into that code and change it, and on top of that, now they lack both the manpower and the funding. Just face it, very basic features such as this and side turrets blasting out their occupants or resetting position simply will never be fixed.
CCP simply can't do it. |

When was this? I've not seen anything like that this year
I have seen that score in 150k proto suits recently though...
Anyway, to the OP, +1 from me
