if the kryptonians knew earths sun gave them god mode powers why didnt they all go to earth. im not talkin about right at zero hour when their planet was exploding. im talking about years before when they first found out

I know next to nothing at all about Superman lore, but didn't they... not know? And I think it's yellow suns in particular, not specifically Earth's sun. They had some other color sun that wasn't yellow that just made them... normal, as far as I know. Basically humans, but with more advanced technology.
Or, I dunno, can you point me to where it says they knew about it beforehand? But it's not like Superman's sun based powers make sense, anyway. He still has them on other planets, and in space, and in other galaxies. Even in areas where he's not exposed to the sun's radiation at all. |

They didn't know because their solar system had a red star which nullified their genetic powers. So they just assumed that'd it'd be the same everywhere.
