The caldari scout bonus isn't great. As you have the sacrifice important shield regulators and extenders just to pick up medium frames at 36-7 meters . Don't get me wrong the suit is great but when they nurfed the range amps and the persistion enhancers. It made the bonus terrible

Lulz. Signature is to troll Adipem/Shotty because it is his go to response for anything he can't argue against.
If anything I represent Team Intaki, which are so fluid in their ideals that you can't really even say that they're part of the Federation in any traditional sense. Sure, some of them are, but some of them are also part of Mordu's Legion, The Caldari State, The Syndicate, Successionists.... The list goes on and on.
Intaki don't really follow one particular flow of ideals.

Its the best suit in the game for using an MD in my not so humble opinion, I love it. I have it and would have used it, if I only played the game these days...
And doesn't it still have a 45 M passive scan at basic? I mean, 1 precision enhancer leaves you with 380 shields and the ability to scan most of whats's out there...

Fit a single precision amp. You'll see medium frames at your full range. Fit two complex damps, you'll be unscannable to all but focused gallogi scans, or amarr scouts at >6m.
Caldari scouts already have insane shield recharge, and unbelievably low delays.

If you have to tank a scout, you're doing it wrong.
And even if you somehow tank it, regs won't help with the 3 HP you now have

Scanning rings required the Rane Amp nerf. I am hoping something can be done to make inner rings a fixed number so Range Amps can be made right.
Otherwise, Range and Precision should never be paired as a bonus. That would be like giving bonuses to both Armor and KCs...

Cal scouts- same hit box as all other scouts
Cal scouts- less tank due to how shields work plus higher fitting costs
Cal scouts- can get 1 shot by a charged scrambler even at full tank
Cal scouts- if tanked it cant use its skills properly as you'd have to fit both range amps and precision enhancers where other scouts can do both well
the cal scout took the biggest nerf to its skills, range amps aren't nearly as good as they used to be passive scans for all socuts got nerfed but the cal scout also lost one of its skills
every thread that claims the cal scout is OP is usually about the hitbox, this has been confirmed to be false as all scouts share the same hitbox, and blue shielding which is also false as this has nothing to do with the Caldari and all to do with hit detection, which in most cases is due to user side errors along with server side lag
The Caldari suffer from many things, and lets not forget that flux nades destroy any and all shields which ruins shield tanking altogether, same with ScR's
all that being said the Caldari do have the best shield regen but what good is that when one shot or one granade can destroy you so easily, not to mention that shields are taken down easily by any weapon as the damage profiles favor armor
even if the Caldari were to be buffed somehow It'd probably still perform worse then the other suits |
