Since I have setup my own corporation, and I know that I will need at least 10 million isk to buy a load of clones in order to launch an invasion against a district on a planet. I was just wondering once I have conquered a district, what is it like managing one? does it have its rewards of owning one?
We must go all the way ! We must fight in Caldari , we shall fight on the planets and moons, we shall never surrender.

Wait until PC 2.0
Everything is going to be changing in the not too distant future and I would hate for you to waste resources now and have things drastically change or get in over your head when a better system is coming.

At present, there is no benefit to holding a district.
This isn't a good time to get involved in PC. There's a revamp coming soonish, though, so look into it again then.

A CEO has plenty to do as it is. You don't need the stress and additional responsibility of managing districts. My advise is to recruit some competent and enthusiastic Directors and let them deal with managing the districts. You can start them as Terrestrial Logistics Officers and Terrestrial Combat Officers until you trust them enough to make them Directors.
When I read this thread yesterday I did not even know if my Corp had a district at the moment. I had to check this morning, and sure enough we do. That might tell you how much effort I put into managing districts as the CEO of Immortal Guides.

Particularly for a new Corp trying to get into PC. You just need to ask nicely and someone will give you one, if you have the ISK you need for a clone pack to claim it.
The main reason to get a District now would be to learn the mechanics of managing one. Once Districts become a valuable commodity again, it will be a lot harder for a new Corp to get their hands on one.
