Hello everyone, as I intend to run for cpm2, I want to tell you what I'm running for. I'm not a man of many words, so I'll put this simply. My platform is two fold, one, I don't intend to push my own narrative on the game, what I want is to be a what a cpm in my opinion should be, a voice to pass on community thoughts and opinions to ccp in a constructive manner and two, to give ccp advice when they ask and when they don't, with the full consideration of what the community wants when they(ccp) ask me about how to resolve an issue in game.
That's it, a voice for the community. With that in mind, my first question to you, the player is this; what is your opinion about my last campaigns issue of instanting an ISD for Dust514, specifically the CCL and the STAR branches? More information is listed here http://community.eveonline.com/community/volunteer-program/.

It's not enough to want it. You need to show through your actions why you deserve to be CPM. People who want to run for CPM should be able to list off all the things they have done for the community. Think about Iron Wolf Sabre during the beta. EVERYONE looked forward to his posts because he always went out of the way to inform the community of general CCP happenings.
It's not enough to just want it. you can also just start building a corp and ask all your friends to vote for ya.
But seriously, unless you have proven that you are committed, through your actions, you have no business running for CPM. Yeah, yeah, I know, you'll do gooder and than the other guy who says he will do good.

If you have to ask if I'm committed you don't know me very well. I wouldn't run and I wouldn't of ran for cpm1 if I wasn't committed to this game and the players.

But this is the conundrum. You have to run as though no one knows you. I haven't seen you too much on the forums and I rarely read your posts. Ignore any reputation you've built up and try to convince people who don't know you. A lot of people are either for you or against you and you can't change that. Try to get the unbiased on your side.
Or just brainwash people like Obama did
My 6th respec put me into the same things as my 2nd respec, only this time I have 12 million more SP =P

I agree, I know Delt pretty well, however, when it comes to running for campaigns you have to pretend that I don't know you. This helps both you and the community.
A) it gives you the opportunity to say this is why I am running, it will be good for the community because..., in other words it helps strengthen your beliefs within yourself, as well as the chance to clearly express them to others. B) for those who don't know you, they get to see what you want to achieve, and your determination. C) Communication is vital, the more you communicate as well as how will greatly enhance anyones application (or decline depending on how it is done).
