Oh, it was Skirm and Acquisition.
There was a few problems happening back then that slipped my mind when I wrote that, but apparently when those got fixed the wait times dropped significantly to about 3 to 15 being the longest. So the problems were apparently connected, and resolved.

I'm glad it was resolved for you. Not so much for me, though. I rarely wait less than 15 minutes for a match whenever I log on. Most of the time, I wait 25 minutes and then give up. I've completely stopped trying if I have less than an hour to spare, which accounts for an increasing percentage of my play sessions due to RL. I miss Dust, but very rarely get into a match when I try :-(
Edit: I queue for Skirmish and Acquisition, automatic server. Or Amarr FW, sometimes I actually get a match there within 5 minutes. |

If I queue near midnight for me... uh... let's see....
6:00 EvE time is midnight for me... and the short waits are at about noon... so.... 18:00 EvE time?
I get the long waits around midnight, and the short waits around noon. If your timezone is off a ways, that could be the reason. Dunno.

Thanks, but I've tried playing in the morning, at noon, in the afternoon and evening. I get the same horrendous wait times at any hour, it seems. If I get in someone else's squad, though, wait times are down to two or three minutes. I shouldn't have to get in a squad to get in a match every time I have time to play a match or two, though - that takes time, too. |
