I saw this weapon in the trailer, the "scrambler machine gun" and wondered why it does not exist beyond the trailer. Since it is an actual game segment (with cg animation) you have models for it. It took down what looked like a 400 hp suit so it would need some damage tweaks (47 per burst instead of 67 maybe). Though, there is the chance it was remodeled into the scrambler rifle. From what I have seen it is the only amarrian styled weapon that is not a laser weapon but a solid bullet, anti-armor weapon. It would be nice to have such an old weapon and it would satisfy those that have asked for a new weapon.

Keep in the mind that just because a model exists, does not mean it's actually possible to drop it into the game. That trailer is obviously running off of a PC and the models are much higher quality than the ones we have in Dust. That being said the model would have to be optimized and worked down to be under memory budget on the PS3. There is actually a pretty cool Devblog talking about the optimization process from Hi-Res down to Game-Res, you should check it out.
