...the shield booster needs looking into, i dont like the way it can be cancelled by abit of damage. if this gets fixed pythons might have a chance.

I totally agree. It should instantly replenish that amount of Shield. At first, I thought it was just the display - you know, the bar that displays HP - but no. After watching the actual numbers, I confirmed that it does actually replenish Shield bit by bit, rather than just instantly replenishing the appropriate amount of Shield, which I think is... 900? It makes the Shield Booster rather ineffective. To be honest, the only viable fit now is double Shield Hardeners and a Heavy Shield Extender for Pythons; not to sure about Tanks...
It reminds me of how Dropsuits should have a damage threshold for interrupting Shield regen.

They're also effectively using shield boosters.
It's not perfect, but their bonus+restistances are better than the ones from incubus.

im still confused on how the lavs are right now. methana has 300 to 1200 right? saga is 900 to 450 right? why is there a long delay for the sheild on the saga when the methana has such a short one? i could stick on a sheid extender and the methana would be almost unkillable via a packed av, heck i might survive 2 or 3 thrown in succession if the timing is right.

I have yet to see a Python that hasn't gone down in flames or hasn't been forced to fly all the way back to it's redline with Swarms hot on it's trail.

All ADS go down like that a few seconds after leaving their redline, Cal and Gal.

The Commando suit mitigates that disadvantage. An ADS certainly can be destroyed by Militia AV, and it's very likely that more than one guy will switch to AV to kill you, especially around Supply Depots. AV is also stupidly easy to use compared to actually piloting a Dropship.
Surely you're not saying that AV (particularly against ADS) is balanced?

I once suggested giving it multiple boosted so that shields can actually stand against blasters.
Think about it. You confront a maddie. You take damage and hit it. The same way his armor repairs, your shields go up for some time. It is a much more even battle.
I propose around 5 pulses.
