I'm trying to find a new game for my ps3 but am not having much luck . I'm looking for a offline game I can play when I'm not on dust. I prefer shooters and open world games.
Please list more than one game I have played hundreds, thanks

I've just stared Fallout 3 which is a pretty good open world game.
Bulletstorm is a FPS which while short, was very absorbing.
Dragon Age II has taken up about 90 hours of my time since release and I've still not finished it.
As you've played hundreds its difficult to know what to recommend. |

Good suggestions,
I played fallout 2 I believe it was ok. But was lacking in keeping me interested . Is 3 the same?
Bulletstorm I've never heard of so ill give it a look =ƒÿè

I can't say I experienced Fallout 2, but Fallout 3 is highly recommended. I paid about -ú12 for the GOTY edition from Amazon which one can't argue with. There's just so much to do.
I normally watch a few vids on youtube before I make a purchase, but some games you just know are gonna be awesome. |

Resistance Fall of Man <-- A great game and its story mode = Long. The AI is very tough and the best part = NO HEALTH REGEN = GOOD. Although you can pick little health packs from killed enemies but as you progress you'll start to find them. Not many but a good amount.
Killzone 3, another great game. It has a good story mode and my favorite Bots zone = :D
Lego Lord of the Rings :D It may be a kids game but its fun and in the end = the entire world is Open.
Lego Hobbit video game <-- Same thing another great game and once complete the world is open for you to explore.
Lord of the Rings Conquest <-- Great game but now its kinda rare to find. I bought back on December 31, 2010 for $7.
And those are the games I own.
I also have Little big Planet :D

Ni No Kuni. In absolutely no way is it what you asked for, but it's an RPG that's got a lot of pokemon elements, with all of its ingame cutscenes done by studio ghibli (and otherwise a lot of art direction done by ghibli) and all of its music done by the japanese philharmonic symphony.

FALLOUT 3
FALLOUT New Vegas are both GOTY good!
Vegas has a tighter more polished story, and true to classic FO. old fallout was top down turn based, i played them all, the new game FO3 and VEGAS are FPS based on the HAVOK engine.
SKYRIM another GOTY from Bethesda is their most recent RPG is very, very good!
Red Dead Redemption from RockStar is also an very polished release, a GOTY , and a visually beautiful game!
I would choose SKYRIM as the best of these 4 open world RPG's. it was a unanimous GOTY (game of the year)
