I am addicted to this place. So I decided to make my own and holy sheet.
2 packs of marinated carne asada steak = $15 4 Cans of Seasons Black Beans = $ 5 1 Can of Jalepenos = $ 2 6 Limes = $ 3 1 Large Bag of Cilantro =$ 2 I bag of Basati Rice = $ 5 1 Pack of Authentic Soft Shells =$ 3
Cheese, Sour Cream, Guacomole
It made enough food for the week and only cost $35. Each trip to Chipotle cost like $20.
Very easy to make and healthy

That place is nasty and tasteless.
You're better off making your own burritos, or going to King Taco, Alfredo's/Alberto's, or some hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

Also, is this for multiple people? I can't imagine spending $20 for a single person at Chipotle without serious effort.

Haven't tried it, but with my experience with Mexican dishes you are better making it yourself than heading to a restaurant. Go to the local butcher pick some eats and fire it up. The only places that I would say beats home cooked meals is Tortilla Jos down in Disney.

I have this local Mexican food shop, all authentic, they used to have a little spot where you can actually order food to eat, that was the absolute best mexican food i have ever had, now they are just a mexican grocer, but still have the most authentic stuff. It be called San Louis. I love that place.
Moral of the story: always go to little holes in the wall, they have the best food ever. Most of the time....

I went to Chipotle once. Got a bowl of something forgettable and a bag of their McDonalds-tier-salted chips for some absurd price.
Don't see why it's so popular, though my go-to now is usually Wawa.

I'm a native Mexican and I have never been to Chipotle. I have no reason to go since that's what I eat ACTUAL Mexican food on a daily basis. And yes, most Mexican food in the US is made to satisfy mostly Anglo-Americans who don't often eat Hispanic food.
Do you know how you know if a Hispanic restaurant is authentic? If there's corona, glass bottled sodas, agua fresca, you get multiple limes and your tacos have more than one tortilla.
Then you're at an Authentic Hispanic Restaurant.
If you haven't eaten mole, pupusas or tlayudas then you haven't experienced Hispanic food yet.

Mariachi band with Maracas and Samba suits ? "No mi amigo Gringo" (not my fellow citizen of USA). that's not a real Mariachi.
The real me an other "mexican" proudly aztecs bloodlines eat "Escamoles" (Ant eggs),"Chinicuiles" (worms), "Chapul+¡nes" (grasshoppers), "Gusanos de Maguey" ( Maggots) with Guacamole and Tortillas.
Each time I travel to USA... try to eat the "regional" food but, there are so limited.
Chicago - Dip dish pizza and Garret's pop corns LAX - "Californian Food" Texas - BBQ Ribs... and Tex-Mex Food. Las Vegas - ... Mandalay and Picassos Micheline restaurants ?..
So... I invite you to try real mexican food. not the tex-mex - Mexican stereotype...
BTW... Chipotle or Chilpotle is a smoked Jalape+¦o pepper. ;)
